Great card all the way to the prelim!!!!
Damn Rampage is right................ from the time Jones got the belt
his demeanor and how he talks has changed he use to be reserved
now is pretty out going and talks ALOT more.... did he get ****y or more
comfotable as being champ
(for those who haven't seen this) - I just want to rshare the staredown from the press conference - this keeps crackin me up. :) it's an 8-second video

I just watched the tape of Jones destroy Shogun again. Rua has more tools that Rampage and Bones made him look like a third rate fighter.
Good luck Rampage, I think you'll need a lot of it.
You know what I think is fun . How all the shogun fans keep saying that he was hurt when he injuryed when he fought Jones. But if he was injuryed when he fought Jones I would think you would want Jones to keep the belt , that way Shogun could get his revenge and get his belt back ,
I still believe that Rampage can take this one.
Typical Bones haters and Rampage lovers. I can't see Jones losing this fight unless he gets "caught" with a haymaker early on, and Rampage will most likely not get close enough to pull it off. Jones' reach and athleticism alone are enough to beat Rampage, never mind his takedowns and unorthodox moves that I am sure he has in store for him. Jones made Shogun look like a child without breaking a sweat and there is nothing that Rampage has that Shogun doesn't.
Every fighter is different. Jones was good against Shogun, but we have to see what he does against Rampage. Rampage has a way better takedown defence than Shogun.
Rampage may have better taken down defense than Shogun, but is it better than Bader's? Or even Hamill's? They were both much better wrestlers than Rampage.
And Shogun, a black belt in BJJ, is way more dangerous on the ground than Jackson.
Rampage might have more KO power than Rua in his hands, but Shogun KO'd him with kicks when they fought in Pride.
Every fighter is different, but it doesn't change the fact that Rampage's only real threat to Jones is his hands. Shogun couldn't trouble Bones with his hands, kicks and BJJ, so I imagine that makes Rampage one weapon easier to defend against.
I like Rampage, but I see this one going the same way as Jones's other wins....dominant.
The only fighter I see troubling Jones is the Spider, but my guess is that will never happen, because I can also see Jones giving Silva trouble.
I know the Silva huggers will weak me, but as great as he is, I don't think Anderson wants anything to do with Johnny.
Silva has already gone on record saying he'd never fight him because he's a "friend", even though they barely know each other, and "he doesn't want to fight at 205", even though he's done a few times in the past few years.
There must be some reason he's not mentioning. I see GSP vs Silva happening but not this one.
Yes, Rampage's takedown defense is better than both Hamill and Bader. Did you not see how many times Hamill tried to take him down last fight? Rampage actually has some of the best takedown defense in MMA. On the flip side, Jones has very good takedowns and will likely get him to the ground. Rampage is also good at getting up. This fight will show how good Jon Jones really is. If he runs through Rampage then he's worth all the hype. There is a big IF there though. My prediction is that this fight will be good and closer than the Shogun fight. Who wins? Who knows? :-D That's my opinion on the matter.
Yes Rampage TDD is better than Hamil's... kinda obvious in his last fight when Rampage outwrestled Hamil... Hamil could NOT take him down, not even close !! He looked like he didn't know what the f*ck he was doing.. that's how good Rampage TDD is.
Blackbelts are overrated... in MMA it's not about what you're capable of doing it's about what you can do with that knowledge in an action fight! After being punched in the face and knee'd in your ribs and laying there on your back under all kinds of pressure. Can you keep your composure and pull off a sub? Can you scramble and get up or sweep? you can be a 10th degree blackbelt for all i care at the end of the day you gotta be cut out for this. You it's about your will and your killer instinct. Nobody can teach you that I don't care how many belts you have or how high your ranked.
I hope Jones worked on his TDD, cause if he thinks he's fighting a "boxer" tomorrow in an MMA match, he's in for a rude awakening.
Only 2 fights on Spike? ... thats hardly even worth finding the remote for.
I am a Jon Jones hater and proud of it ... he is classless.
But he will be damn hard to beat for anybody.
Try finding the remote in your butt crack, if you can still reach it.
If those 2 fights end early, that means they can broadcast another 1 possibly 2.
Just like on the main card they can possibly broadcast every prelim if every fight ends in the first round.
TRUTHFULLY, Rampage hasn't shown knockout power in three years, that's not to say it isn't there anymore, but we have seen people be able to take allot of hit from him lately, and still last to the decision... The hype for this fight should be when Rampage is on a streak of knocking heads, but it isn't the case. Rampage will walk forward and get chopped down from afar...
Thank you. Thank you so much.
Why is it when you reach the top, there are so many beneath you wanting to shoot you down?
haters gonna hate...
If the fighters below the champ weren't trying to "shoot you down" it would be a pretty boring sport.
Lets see...."Hi Jon, its Rampage. Say do you need any help with your yard work today. I'm not busy. No, okay well I'll see you at the Wine and Cheese this evening. All the best to your wife. Oh, by the way, I don't wan't to be a bother so why don't you just keep the belt."
I was refering to the haters on lowkick and other sites.
A hundred bucks says that Rampage and Jones hug at the weigh in......
Looks like you just lost some money :-D
I love Rampage in this fight. I hope Jones goes to sleep then we can see Rashad and the new motivated Rampage matchup.
Ugh, idiots, watch Rampage walk out, then watch Jones, then shove your Jones is c0cky bullshit up your butts. It's a sport of self-promotion and one in which the mind is hugely important. And tonight, Rampage dies.
does anybody know what was written on rampage's underwear ?
