bet someone wish they would have submitted someone huh. Kinda ironic not 1 brazilian submitted anyone >.
Bullshit FOTH, it should of went to Hares vs Miller, and since there was no SOTN their should of been an extra bonus KOTN maybe to Erik Silva
yea or at least give miller n him a oddest fight of the night bonus or something
Palhares vs Miller was indeed fight of the night!
so with you on that one. Erick Silva knocked the f out of that guy. And The Palhares vs Miller fight had me on my FEET!
I think UFC should have just given out 3 KO of the night bonuses Nog Shogun n Silva
I agree with the FOTN only because I think Palhares vs. Miller was very one sided which takes away from the suspense a bit and also their fight's 3rd round was very slow and mainly consisted of 1 slow punch for 1 slow punch.
Barboza Pearson was super fast pace from start to finish, was a split decision which shows how close it was and was a pretty back and forth fight with a lot of nice stand up action and techniques shown. Both fighters were also comign forward for the full 15 minutes.
Tricky FOTN to Call but I think they got it right.
The KOTN was the most controversional of the awards in my opinion and I feel Dana should of given out 2 since there was no submissions tonight.
Shogun had a more brutal TKO and against a higher caliber opponent but I think Nog got it just for the situation; being arguably the most popular fighter on the card, most legendary fighter on the card, coming back from almost a 2 year lay-off and smashing a much younger and more athletic opponent, scoring a big win getting him back in the mix, being the underdog and just because he did what everyone expected to happen to him.
Shogun could have just as easily got the KOTN but I have no arguement with Nog getting it.
These judges are ridiculous. I'm not going to say "he should have won, or he didn't deserve to win etc." but look at some of the score differences between individual judges for a single fight, it's crazy they need to get on the same page.
no one is mentioning the beating Nedkov was taking until he TKOd Cane. to me that was a shocker and just came out of no where
