Does anyone get the feeling that Okami is the sacrificial lamb to the Brazilian slaughter?
i think people are being to quick to write off okami just my opinion though
"I'm not sure what Okami thinks, but I don't consider that a loss. I wasn't the one knocked out."
Hmm.... now he sounds like someone we know, huh?
Running hills, flipping tires, lying, doping up, staying far away from women as possible, pretty much every thing Sonnen is teaching him won't help once this Dump Truck step in the octagon 8/27
The most valuable person on Okami's team is the actuary. He can compare the salary to an estimate of the cost of the post-fight medical bills and determine whether it's a financially sound plan to step into the octagon and get destroyed.
idk i got a feeling Brendan Schaub is going to win...i see him becoming the next JDS in the HW division, the guy makes incredible improvement in all his fights his better and he has good hands, if Nog wins it might be because of a submission i believe...Okami pretty much will be him against the world, by the way he talked he knows AS stand up well and also training with sonnen i think he will try to GnP Anderson, Think AS will KO him at one point but Okami i think does have a chance as small of a chance it is if he can get AS to the ground and GnP and stay away from submissions kinda like Sonnen did he might be able to beat AS but if he keeps it standing or cant get AS down, its lights out for Okami...Also im very interested which Shogun will show up, hows his knee feeling, and hows his cardio, Griffin could potentially win this one if Shogun is not back to the old Shogun
Dam it's been a very long time since big nog got ktfo by Cain.
This is going to be such a live card! None of the brazilian fighters are going to want to lose in front of their country.
I am more interested in Shogun coming back. I want to see if he is healed and 100% ready. For AS it would be an average fight.
"Losing to people sucks, so I know he's going to want to beat me"
- Forrest Griffin
Gotta love some of the gems that come outta that guys mouth
Yes Forrest is classic!
sick card !!!!!!!!
This is going to be an awesome card!
Another Ko's From the "Spider"...
Im sure Anderson will take this, probably quickly too by KO. Wants to win in spectacular fashion in front of his countrymen, also to help clean his record because of that DQ loss to Okami years ago.
Forrest griffin is the coolest
a couple questions about the first silva / okami fight. i have never seen it till today, after watching the preview above i watched the fight on youtube, and am wondering , what was illegal about it ? is it because okami was technically a downed opponent because his knees were on the ground even though he was on top in silva's guard, and would that be illegal in the UFC ? seems a wierd rule, sure kicking a downed opponent if you are standing but off your back, its like an up kick, not sure what makes it any worse if the opponent has his knees on the ground in that position vs raised an inch off .
