The event is headlined by Dominick Cruz's third WEC/UFC Bantamweight title defense, this time against the arch nemesis Urijah Faber. Wanderlei Silva and Chris Leben will battle it out in the co-main event attraction of the night. The fight card also features Tito Ortiz's "do or die" fight against Ryan "Darth" Bader.

    According to UFC rules i would say Cruz won but Faber definetly did more damage. Those costly little takedowns even though only seconds in duration cost Faber that fight. I would love to see another match between them. Faber was hindered by a size deficit and that is most likely the reason Cruz was able to get some success with the takedowns. I knew this fight would be awesome and it is possibly the best of the year.

    The fight where Cruz was getting far more damage delivered than dealt. I already stated that Cruz won on the terms of UFC where takedowns even if only for a second or two count more than a solid punch that rocks your oponent. Remember that faber was significantly smaller and still managed to land better shots.
