Multi-time UFC Lightweight title challenger Kenny Florian made a successful Featherweight debut against Diego Nunes, winning the fight via a Unanimous Decision.

Florian looked skinny, but still managed to execute his gameplan with well-timed striking and successful takedown attempts. Nunes responded with unorthodox striking that managed to trouble Florian on several occasions, but Ken-Flo remained in control on his way to a Unanimous Decision victory.

In his post-fight interview, Florian asked for a shot at Jose Aldo's Featherweight title, who successfully defended his belt against Mark Hominick back at UFC 129. Kenny Florian is now 15-5 in his MMA career.

Good job by Kenny - cardio showed very well at 3rd round. I wouldn't have scored this as unanimous though, however good debut fight still.

Every fight Kenny goes into he manages to cut up his opponent (bar Maynard), I dropped a load out the back exit when he got clipped I couldn't bare to see him lose again! He had a pretty good performance here against Nunes, but unless he improves tenfold then I have to admit the Jose Aldo fight is going to be a long, or very short night.

Nobody else thought that Kenny was throwing 12 to 6 elbows from the bottom?
