Dave Herman promised and delivered a very entertaining fight against the Norwegian Goliath Jon Olav Einemo. Herman had a strong opening with effective striking combinations, and a good takedown defense.

Einemo had not much to offer in the first round, but in the second, the Team Golden Glory product let his hand loose, turning the fight against Herman into a slugfest. JOE managed to land a series of powerful punches that wobbled Dave Herman, who has a special passion for keeping his chin up and hands down.

But it was not over. Herman responded with strikes of his own, and managed to knock down Einemo after a vicious combo. The Norwegian managed to survive, but Herman continued to pressure, and got Einemo knocked down again. From there, it was a short way to finish, as Dave Herman improved his MMA record to 21-2.

The fight against Travis Browne might be next for Pee-Wee.

I simply could not get over the size of Einemo! I know he isn't as tall but he just simply looked like the biggest fighter I have seen in the cage (non freakshow).

I'm pretty dissapointed by his performance, as soon as it hit the ground I thought he was going to destroy the much smaller Herman. It's weird that he has a win over Roger Gracie when he couldn't get any offense on the ground going against a small opponent and that Graciehas demolished every opponent with Jits even though they are his size and sometimes stronger than him.

Just one of those rare fights where you get to see an all out war and while the technique might not be beautiful something about the rawness is.
