UFC 128 Results: Jim Miller TKO's Kamal Shalorus in Round 3
Posted on March 19, 2011, 10:36 PM by Anton GurevichJim Miller moved one step closer to the UFC Lightweight title shot, this time defeating the previously unbeaten Kamal Shalorus via a vicious knee-stirkes combination. Miller controlled all three rounds of the fight, with unorthodox submission attempts, well-timed striking and great wrestling.
Shalorus looked focus throughout the fight, but was unable to give an adequate answer to Miller's aggression. The Prince of Persia was also unable to utilize his elite Wrestling skills, which were a key factor behind 10 of his previous MMA career victories.
It was Miller's 7th consecutive victory inside the Octagon, and 20th overall in his career. Miller lost only two fights in his career, one to the reigning Champion Frankie Edgar, and another to the current challenger Gray Maynard. And with George Sotiropoulos being out of the title race due to defeat against Dennis Siver at UFC 127, Miller may find himself in the #1 Contender bout against the winner of Pettis-Guida showdown.

no chance he's had 7 wins in a row man i think he should get the next shot at the title.
