Saturday's UFC 127 competitors attended open workouts in Australia Tuesday in preparation for this weekend's event.  The stacked card will be headlined by a Welterweight clash between top contenders BJ Penn and Jon Fitch, with a Middleweight showdown between Michael Bisping and Jorge Rivera serving as the co-main event attraction.  Also featured will be Aussie native George Sotiropoulos taking on Denis Siver, as well as hard-hitting veteran Chris Lytle against Brain Ebersol.

    Stacked card?

    Isn't that a tad hyperbolic?

Don't get me wrong, I think it is a good card--but stacked? That's like calling a 34A cup stacked.

To each their own I suppose. BJ Penn and Fitch are two top contenders fighting for a title shot. Rivera has sucked Bisping into a war, so that should be interesting. G-Sots is one of the best Lightweights in the division right now against a dangerous guy in Siver (even tho he is overlooked.) Chris Lytle loves to bang... So yea, in my personal opinion I believe this card is a bit stacked. Its always the cards that those certain people snub that turn out to be great.

i agree with joey on this one, it doesnt have the star power that say, 126 had but im looking forward to nearly every fight, and i think had condit not got injured then this would've had the potential to be one of the cards of the year

if condit vs lytle was still on this card it would seem alot more stacked.

If Condit and Lytle were still on, it might convince me.

I look forward to the Penn vs. Fitch, and G-Sot vs. Siver.

Bisping vs. Rivera is OK, but not compelling to me.

I usually interpret 'stacked' to mean 3 very compelling fights, but as you say, each to his own.

people dont give bispings hands any credit beause they dont see him dropping people or getting ko's but he will constantly hit the target and he causes people damage. Im sure in this fight he will land the jab alot and lots of 1,2's. Just slowly but surely bust riveras face up.
