I agree. How I think its going to go is rampage will look aggressive machida will be passive and everytime rampage tries to hit him machida will counter strike, rampage will get frusterated and machida will body lock him and do those sumo trips machida is good at and win via decison

I went against my instincts and voted for Rampage only on the basis he has more to lose. I feel crazy for doing it and yet i feel i will be surprised by a great performance from him.

Rampage should presure Machida and go for a kil just like Shogun! His chin is strong enough to withstand Machida's counter attacks.

Rampage in round one KO or if Machida gets through initial flurry of punches the machida will win by TKO in the third

Dont count rampage out. He may be past his prime. But veterans know how to win.

Hughes is the worst possible match up for BJ. All of BJ's losses have been to wrestlers except his first two by Machida and Pulver. Would have prefered to see him fight a non-wrestler just to get a win under his belt.

You do realize that BJ beat Hughes in his prime and then only lost the second fight because he gassed? If anything BJ has always had Hughes number.

He lost both of those fights by decision, he hasnt fought machida again so not much to say on that but he dominated Pulver in their second fight with hardly no prob. He just needs to actually care in this fight and he might win. Rampage by HENDO punch in 1st rnd. Cant wait to see Joe and George go at it though. thats gunna be my highlight of the night.

i hate how rampage and his camp talk so much shit about lyoto that karate sucks shit and that lyoto is boring for being elusive and that his chin is weaker then rashad. And at the end of part 1 rampage: says he can say whatever he wants i do my talking in the cage. WTF? why did you open your mouth at the beginning then. And i dont understand what rampage mean by aaying ''he can say whatever he wants i do my talking in the cage'' all Lyoto said was good things about rampage.

I think there is a big chance that Machida is taking Rampage lightly in this fight and I can see Rampage either taking Machida down and g&p him out or catching him and knocking him out. I do see that Machida can win a decision but I doubt he will stop Rampage.

rampage is not passed his prime thats just stupid if machida can dance around for three rounds and not get caught then he'll probably score enough to win but if rampage so much as touches his chin it's over .

Rampage doesnt check kicks and Machida loves to use his kicks and keep a distance and counter. I see this going like Machida vs Evans, he can kick him and dart in and out and Rampage cant punch him

As much as I have been critical of Rampage as of late, it is because I am a scorned fan... I do hate this match-up for him tho, I just don't think he can win. Whats left if he loses? I fear he will retire.

On a side note, Shinzo Machida is looking a bit old. He pretty much gave up his career to help train and prepare Lyoto for his. Last I heard from him he was on Junkie Radio about, I'd say 9 months ago or so, saying that he planned to start taking his own career seriously. Guess that never materialized. Lyoto's loss to Shogun probably hindered any possible progression there.
