The fight was removed from the card. There has been no official word released as to why, but sources did say it was due to a "scheduling conflict." With all the injuries and last minute substitutions in that match it was probably a good idea. It was also noted that each fighter is expected to have replacement bouts in the near future, but will likely to face different opponents.

There just seems there is no way Toney is prepared for this fight. He looks like he is coming in in the worst shape of his life. Was this all just a set up to get the boxing community to watch UFC? I could easily see Dana trying to make boxing as obsolete as possible.

. Exactly what division is this fight supposed to be happening at? Toney is fighting at HW...Randy somewhere between LHW and HW.

I'm sorry, but I think the whole Toney...and I'm a world class boxer has grown a little tired. If he's going to come into the UFC, then pick a weight class and fight there. If Toney is coming in this heavy, then he should have been given a HW fighter; Pat Berry, Mirko Cro Cop, Frank Mir et al, all would have been great fights for the flabby boxer.

I feel that Toney is being given a pass, here; one which has not been given to anyone else. If Toney is serious and the intention is to have him fight at HW, then give him "real" HW fighters and Randy is not a "real" HW; regardless of whether or not he can make 225, he has no business fighting @ HW; not anymore.

Even though I believe RC will win tonight, I want to see Toney in with "the big boys" and if he's stupid enough to think he can take on Brock and that crew - then by all means, give Toney the fights.

Wing I agree with you fully on this one..... I think the main reason why he's Randy is because he is one of the more well know MMA fighters that wanted to actually take this fight.... plus him coming off his movie added that much more publicity to the fight... Its just what it is.. a money grab ... Randy's gonna f$%# him up.... endo story

Thought the same thing. I thought I must have been living underneath a rock because I didn't know that the weight restrictions on this fight were supposed to be so loose.

I know that even though Couture wanted this fight, not sure why he would want to go back up to his heavyweight weight for just one fight, and then have to start cutting back down again.
