UFC 116 Attendance and Gate

UFC 116 : Lesnar vs Carwin offically drew and attendance of 12,740 - 9,218 of that paid 4,053,990 according to the NSAC, the largerst gate receipts i've seen.

The MGM Grand Garden Arena is set up for 14,934 ,so there where 2,194 tickets left unsold. Its not clear if these seats were on free tickets or there were empty ,odd in my opinion since this was the seconds biggest PPV after UFC 100 .

It could have been that the tickets prices were too expensive and were left unsold, since the gate still made more than 4 million .

The UFC paid $923,000 in reported fighter salaries at UFC 116 , as well as $450,000 in disclosed post fight award bonuses , that includes Fight of the Night , Knock out of the Night and Submission of the Night.

This numbers do not include PPV % or sponsors paychecks.
