UFC 115 Aftermath: Post-fight Quotes and Pictures
Posted on June 14, 2010, 07:42 AM by Anton GurevichUltimate Fighting Championship's first trip to Vancouver provided some of the most entertaining moments so far this year, headlined by Rich Franklin's vicious KO victory over the legendary "Iceman" Chuck Liddell. Here is the short round-up of quotes and pictures from the UFC 115: Liddell vs Franklin participators:
Rich Franklin
“I was just happy the fight was over. I knew my arm was broken in the fight. I definitely wasn't going to quit -- I've broken bones before and continued fighting. But, there was a part of me wondering how I was going to, what strategy I was going to use, to win the fight with a broken left arm in the second and third rounds..."

"I train with some really good jiu-jitsu guys in Vegas. I got labeled as a striker when I first came in the UFC, but I always work a lot on my ground game. I felt very confident in my ground game. I felt I definitely had to be cautious with him, but I felt I was the better fighter in all aspects, and I think I proved that tonight. I want to fight the guys that are ranked high at welterweight," he said. "It makes me move up the ladder and continue to get closer to a title shot."
Mirko Cro Cop
"I wanted to prove to everyone that I'm not old and they are wrong. My preparation for this fight was the hardest it has been my entire life. I want the grand prix in 2006 with Pride, but tonight, my condition was better.... I was really dedicated.... I never felt so comfortable in my career. Pat caught me twice; the punches were good, especially the second one. It was good, but I was able to stand up right away. And I just felt a pain in my eye, that's all I felt. I wasn't dizzy, just had a little double vision for about 10 seconds. Later on I was okay. I was just doing my thing, trying to involve him in the clinch to get him tired, take him down and to finish him. I just felt good this time to tell you the truth.
Dana White
"I'm the first one to blast a referee or judge for making bad calls, but in my opinion, referees aren't looking at the time -- they couldn't give a shit what time it is or how much time is left. They're there to protect the fighters. Rory's a young guy, he's got a lot of fights ahead of him and he took a lot of damage in that last round. I didn't have any problem with the stoppage. It's just unfortunate when a fight stops with seconds left, you know? It's just one of those things, but you won't hear me bitching about that one."

mirko is the man just look at pat.....he put him in a weelchair haha
haha, Mirko isnt much better off.
no kidding....sometimes its hard to tell who won by looking at the pics of the fighters afterward. Mirco is smiling though. That was the most entertaining fight in a long time. Vintage Crocop (except for the hug)
I was impressed by Kampmann. I wish he would have fought like that against Daley.
Daley is a power puncher. If you got caught, you got caught.
I like Cro Cop. I think he is a great striker. I think when he lost to Fedor he was exposed and lost his edge. Nonetheless, I am glad to see he did great. I hope he has one or two left in him.
The whole room here burst with laughter when crocop and Pat pulled that hug. What an entertaining fight. And Kampman....Really great balance and footwork, and one of the only guys in MMA that knows how to use his jab correctly.
