Travis Browne KO's Stefan Struve in first
Posted on May 28, 2011, 09:28 PM by Anton GurevichIn one of the most unusual moments in UFC history, Travis Browne managed to KO the Dutch Skyscraper Stefan Struve via a perfectly executed Superman punch.
From the first minutes of the fight, it looked like Struve is the one who's ahead. The Dutchman used his reach to create distance, managing to land a series of good punches. Seconds before the knockout, Struve almost submitted Travis Browne via Anaconda Choke, but "Hapa" managed to find his way out back to the feet, and the rest is history.
Browne is now 11-0-1 in his MMA career, and can safely expect a "serious opponent" in his next fight inside the Octagon.

Ive never seen a man bend over in the air like that.
Fair play Browne ;-)
Browne is a beast n legit contender one of the nastiest KO's I hve ever seen
struve got his jaw checked, as per usual.
what did i say in my article? XD
i really dont get why people have "poor" ed this
def KOTN and a highlight reel ko
Great KO highlight of the night for me. I would love to see him fight MIr next i think that could be a war.
Great KO but i'm really dissapointed with Struve, he has sucha poor chin
Common man did you see that punch!!! It was perfect! Struve still has alot of potential but just needs to learn how to use his phsyical atributes more effectively, as well as tighten up his striking defense.
i wouldnt say struve has a iron chin but he doesnt have a poor chin either that was one hell of a punch. still a big struve fan but he needs to never never attempt another flying knee so far he has been dropped twice and koed once. struve needs to bulk up to at least 275 and start taking notes from other fighters of similar builds klitchko and shilt. both have size to out muscle their opponents and use their jabs to keep opponents at range then land with the big shot. struve is just a little too agreesive and it gives his opponents oppurtunities to get under his reach and land the big shot
I'm a huge Struve fan aswell but in all of his fights I just feel he is also in danger of being rocked
That was a Crazy KO
Unusual moment? I'd say it was pretty f**kin cool
Especially in slow motion.
