Team Lesnar contestant Tony Ferguson completed a long journey to becoming the 13th Ultimate Fighter winner. Ferguson defeated Team Dos Santos fighter Ramsey Nijem via a crushing KO in Round 1.

Nijem and Ferguson went toe-to-toe during the first minutes, proving why they are the best TUF 13 has to offer. Ramsey Nijem was one step ahead during on the feet, but Ferguson's perfect combination sent "The Stripper" down to the canvas like a sack of potatoes. The referee had to stop the action at the official time of 3:54 minutes of Round 1.

"El Cucuy" (Boogeyman) Ferguson is now 11-2 in his MMA campaign with a four-fight winning streak. Ferguson TKO'd every single one of his opponents on the way to the Finale, and proved he's the best by adding Ramsey Nijem to this perfect statistic. Ferguson has 7 TKO/KO and 3 Submission victories on his record.

To specify, I admire this kid for his hard work, obviousely he deserves credit, but comment about him being a role model makes just made me angry cause his belligerence and drunkeness makes it none of the sort, well hopefully hell change.

I feel sorry for Ramsey cause he was crying so hard in the backround when he realized he lost.

I thought Ramsey was going to KO Tony at the start of the fight with all those punches. I don't feel too bad for Ramsey though, he must've known there was a possibility he could lose. I don't get all the Tony hate, yeah he said some stupid things but he apologized and that's all he can do. He was drunk, people do stupid things when their drunk. I'm sure you guys have been there too. Besides, this is reality TV, they keep the stuff that inflames people and leave out the rest.

    Good fight, nice KO.

I saw that too. Ramsey was throwing those straight punches and was landing. I thought that a couple more and a well timed hook would have stunned Tony. BUT Tony's game plan was better I thought. The surprise take down probably took some wind out of Ramsey even for just a second, made him second guess. The knock out was unexpected (for me - I thought it would have gone to decision).

As for the douche that was Toney, he paid his dues, he did apologize - who knows if he meant though. Congrats to him no matter what.

He's good some really good hands, too much for Ramsey to handle, but unfortunatly his character fails the test...

Yeah Tony was clearly the dominent fighter wtth a better skillset, though for a few seconds at the beginning of the fight i honesty thought ramsey may drop him with those initial punches...pity though about Tony's personality I lost respect for him on tuf...someone who can get that personal with another guy he hardly knows, and to that degree of low, is certainly an asshole
