Ortiz revealed he felt very close to finishiing the fight via submission, but Rashad Evans proved he's much better fighter than he was back at UFC 73. Still, Ortiz promised MMA fans around the World that he'll be back, with sights on another run for a shot at the UFC 205 belt.

thats a little unfair IMO. Tito was trying to work to beat Rashad but he was outclassed. i still got respect for Tito but Rashad was the better fighter, shame he's an asshole
Well according to Sonnen, John Cena, and The Rock they are as well. So Tito better take a number and wait his turn.
He's a former champion, and one of the most recognizable MMA fighters in the world. He's a huge draw.

Fighters often wear sunglasses after an ass-kicking like that. His face was pretty busted up. It's understandable that he wanted to cover it up.
Doesn't matter according to Dana if you lose continually you will be cut now. GOOD BYE TITO! IF Dana doesn't cut him then Tito is Dana little Boy Toy just like Brock was. If it is because of huge draw. Then why cut Fedor? Dana's comments about anything has no direction. Fertillas have alot more to do with the everyday business then people think. Dana is their

Tito is a hundred times the draw to a [mostly not extremely fanatic] North American crowd as Fedor.

Tito 100 times the draw. I didn't watch the fight and neither did alot of people I know. LOL! Why, you ask? Cause they knew Tito was going to get that @$$ beat! Fedor they like to watch because he fights.
Chael Sonnen called the title of "People's Champ" for MMA already. Tito is the Bader Killer Champ.....dont think anyone can claim that over him

Mr King of excuses, the last 4 fights he said before all his fights he feels great his back is perfect and had a really good camp and straight after he loses the first thing he says is i had back surgery and i cant fight 100% this guy is like a broken record,
He's the king of excuses, but no more it seems. He did not ONCE try to blame it on the quick turnover or any other factor that might have prevented him from performing 100% last night. He stated emphatically that Hashad was simply the better fighter, that Tito was 100% and was just outclassed.
i think the guy deserves some respect. i mean i was under the impression that to date he is the longest reigning champ at LHW? and the fact that he stepped up with what 2 weeks to prepare for rashad? gotta give him props for that
U suck Tito. Your comment about PRide fighters coming over to UFC and falling is stupid. Anderson Silva all his losses have come from Pride, but never lost in UFC. So I guess you UFC is too easy for him. Rampage was from Pride, Fedor, etc. GO RETIRE. Hey you are 1-5 now. Dana will be giving you a Pink slip soon.
His Pride losses came to two tomato-can Japanese... and former UFC WW Champ Carlos Newton was schooling him until he got knocked out. Anderson Silva ISN'T a Pride fighter, he was barely top 10 when he was there. He's made 100% of his epic legacy inside the Octagon.
OK. So why does Tito say EVERYONE that came from Pride FC has gotten stomped. Example, Anderson came from Pride FC and has not lost. So Tito's comment about Pride FC fighters getting stomped is inaccurate.
Tito looooves himself so much,he wins one lousy fight in 6 years and now he thinks he's all that,last ight we saw the Tito that fought Hamill,all washed up,has been Tito,you looked awful,enjoy that knee to your chest much?lmao!!!!!!!
That knee to the sternum was brutal at the end of the fight... at least Tito took the fight on short notice, otherwise the fight could of been scratched.
