Tim Boetsch: Michael Bisping has been on my agenda
Posted on March 9, 2012, 07:56 PM by Trent ReinsmithSince dropping from Light Heavyweight to Middleweight, Tim Boetsch has gone on a three fight winning streak defeating Kendall Grove, Nick Ring and most recently Yushin Okami.
The victory over Okami was an impressive come from behind win for Boetsch. Okami looked to be on his way to victory when Boetsch came out guns-a-blazing to start the third round, eventually finishing the fight 54 seconds into the round.
Following the victory, Boetsch mentioned that he would be interested in facing Dan Henderson, however with Henderson waiting for a shot at a UFC title fight, it seems as if that fight is out of the question.
When pressed about what other fight he would be interested in Boetsch said, “I’d like to think my next fight will be against whoever’s next in line to determine who will face the winner of the Anderson Silva, Chael Sonnen fight. Definitely I’d like to take on a top three fighter; I want that fight, I want to take them out. (Michael) Bisping’s name has been on my agenda for a long time. Even back when we were at light-heavyweight he was someone I wanted to fight. I think he did a heck of a job against Chael and he’s certainly up there as a contender…It will be interesting to see who they come with, and whoever they do, I’ll be ready.” – for more see FullContactFighter

Tim had a great comeback against Okami and everything but truly, in terms of pure skills he isn't even top 10 in the MW division or barely. He's a cool guy don't get me wrong, but he's a bit slow and predictable in my opinion. Bisping would eat him for breakfast along with a cup of tea.
Getting a little carried away there Tiiimmmmaaaaayyyyy
I would enjoy seeing Vitor Belfort Punch him super quickly in the face and knock him out.
This guy is not a threat to the division at all. He got lucky against Okami.
Lucky that Okami got tired I guess and played it to safe I guess.
I have to say this is BAD miss match if happens but it will be nice for Bisping to get an easy win. Bisping is a much better striker then Okami and as we saw with Sonnen Bispings takedown defense is top notch and Boetsch won't be able to take him down much less hold him down.
On top of that Bisping has an endless gas tank, how does Boetsch win this fight?
