That's a little misleading. There's no indication that he'll be careful, defensive or evasive in the octagon.

He's just doing the right things in preparation and training. Things like studying tape, learning his styles, prepping his own strength, cardio, etc. That's what any fighter should do in a big fight like this. To be anything less than this would be absolutely stupid.

I think you people need to watch some of this guy's fights. I am giving Jones a slight edge here but Matyushenko is a very legitimate challenge. This should be a good fight.

he is , but Jon Jones is just getting better and better!

i think in Danas mind hes not a big threat to Jones so he just want Jones to take it easy before a title fight!

hes just keeping him for 2011 i think

Agreed. More grooming for Bones with different styles of fighters to get him ready for a title run in 2011.

Very well could be. Jones is amazing and YOUNG. Even if he loses he has plenty of time to rise. Like I said above, I give Jones a slight edge but that said, this is the kind of fight where an "upset" can pretty easily happen.

We also can't forget that The Janitor has only lost like 4 fights in his career with 20+ wins and has won both fights since his return to the Octagon, even though they were less than "amazing" wins. Could be a closer fight than it seems at first glance. Bones has been tearing guys up so I think first instinct is to assume he would be able to do the same here, but you never know.

Yea this should be a good one. I dont understand why people are counting The Janitor out. I mean Jones is the truth and he will win, but by no means is it because The Janitor is a push over.

My money is on Jones too, but The Janitor is a tough dude and should not be a pushover at all.

this fight is so bad for Jones...win or lose it doesn't help his career...it's a step down from Vera...he should have been fighting Thiago Silva or someone like that

Having been on the Jones bandwagon since the first time I saw him fight I obviously believe he has champion potential but I have to say people are acting like Jones is unbeatable now. This is imo without a doubt a step up from Vera in competition, I mean Vera was coming of a loss to a has been while the janitor is actually looking good right now.

This will in no way be an easy fight for Jones but I do give this to Jones via Decision after a great fight.
