He was just trying to walk forward on me, you know, trying to get the jump on me. So, whatever, he shouldn't walk that close. He put his stupid a-- cowboy hat all up on me, so I wasn't trying to be a bully or anything, but he shouldn't have done that. ... Why the hell are they going to let us face off, especially after he's going to try to talk sh-t in the interviews? Let's get it clear real quick though, how am I a pu--y, what are your reasons for me being a pu--y? I love these two, but its ovb these two do whatever it takes to rationalize and justify their actions so they take no responsibility.

That's why after he pushed Donald, he was damn near ran off the stage. That stuff earns NO respect from me. All of the sheep out there can enjoy the entertainment, but I'll take it for what it is. Ceasar Gracie has no idea how to teach discipline outside of the cage. If these two represent the Gracie family, they are not doing a good job. The first important thing of ANY of the Martial arts is discipline.
Well you know their characters. So its upon you wether you cause trouble or not (you=whoever gets near them)
Or it's up to them to act like responsible human beigns who have control over their own actions? Impossible I guess. WHat I get out of this is, anything the diaz brothers do is the fault of their surrounding people? If that's true, they would be at fault for each others actions.

No they don't. They speak the minds of their people telling them what to say. The video of him showing Nick exactly what happens is pretty much proof in the pudding. They say and do things to impress each other and their boys on the street. I would love to see what they would ACTUALLY say if they had no boys to go back home to. Independent thought is a rare commodity that escapes these two for sure.
Absolutely agree. It's a damn shame they take no responsibility for anything other than a win. They could both easily be some of the best fighters in their weight class, but their lack of self respect and ability to be an adult about things will keep their greatness from ever reaching their full potential. Gonna be an AWESOME fight none the less.

I am not a fan of the behavior of the Diaz brothers, but in this case, I side with Nate. There is an etiquette in these staredowns--one is don't touch your opponent, the other is don't get too close--even with your cowboy hat.

The re-watch the staredown. The only time his hat touched nate was when nate bitched out. There is absolutely an etiquette, but you have it wrong entirely. The rules are, act as big and hard as possible, but NEVER lay a hand on the opponent until in the ring. Never let a staredown show how undisciplined you are. This was a Failure on Nates part. The self justification just further shows their lack of responsibility.

Again, I am a BIG FAN of BOTH FIGHTERS. I thought Cowboy would be a UFC champ one day when I first started seeing him. But to hate on Diaz...? If I recall, Nate beat the guy who fought for the title...3 times! Name a fight Nate has lost to TKO/KO/sub...Hermes Franca WEC 24 back in 06'...Where is Hermes now?

Lastly, If your last name is "Diaz" and it goes to the judges, you're not going to win.

@ Brrrim, The reason people hate on the Diaz brothers is because they act like ignorant thugs. Everybody knows they are skilled world class fighters, thats why they are in the UFC. This whole im from the streets of Stockton im so hard attitude doesn't impress folks that have half a brain. And the constant negativity, and the world is out to get me attitude doesn't help. I love a good fight, and these guys always deliver, but if i saw them on the streets I would pretend i have know clue who they are. Champions like JDS, Cain, the Nogs, and many others came from humble beginnings but carry them selves with dignity and respect so thats the type of fighter fans like myself are always going to admire, not some child acting a$$.

By the way I have an engineering degree, and am gainfully employed so next time im at the bank I doubt theses fools will be a thought, but next time I read a book I will think of them and you.

Having Nick as his older bother simply adds fuel to any fire he comes across, that being said, nothing the Diaz's do surprises me.
Its kinds like a Hells Angel member, they just dont carry old lady's groceries or mow their neighbor's yard, its almost wrong to expect it.

I love diaz brothers and their attitude, its true though... mma is a dog eat dog world so either stir shit with everything and everyone that moves or get out of the way. As far as skills go they're sick to... cowboy isnt taking this one im sorry. Diaz is to well rounded, I think he's good but hes just not at that level and this fight will show it

It's pretty funny but its damn obvious to anyone watching the replay that he Cowboy wasn't advancing on him at all. To me doing something like that is a sign of weakness as you'll do anything to break the stair down that you feel you are losing.
