TUF 14: Bisping vs. Miller Weigh-In Video and Results

This finale is going to be one of the most exciting for a while imo, i love watching the fast paced fights the lighter weight divisions put on and there's some good match ups been made. Does anybody know how old Yves Edwards is? the guys been around since the early days and he still doesn't look over 20! lol. He's been on a bit of a resurgence lately, since Stout knocked him out and i'd like to see him have a good run. I like both Bisping and Miller and i think they're both pretty evenly matched but i think Bisping has the edge and that Miller's getting his ass kicked, should be a great fight though........

I really like Bisping, but I don't know how interesting it is if he wins. If he wins, either Sonnen or Munoz just takes him down and beats on him. It's a bit more interesting if we see a recharged Miller with good striking and dangerous BJJ back.

i agree with what your saying, sonnen looked in excellent shape against stann and im my opinion i see stann and bisping as very similar fighters. bisping has been fighting second tier fighters for the majority of his UFC career, with obvious exeptions to rashad and hendo, and he lost to both of them. idont see him beating sonnen, i think he may have a chance against munoz but even then a very slim one. he isnt anywhere close to anderson silvas level, not that many people are but i dont see bisping coming anderson a run for his money if they fought. anderson would see it as another boring match i reckon and put in a performance similar to those of the matches against leites, maia and cote.

I don't know how people can have such strong feelings towards fighters. You don't know Bisping, you don't know how he is with his family or friends. You see one side of him in a high pressure and adrenaline filled environment. Yeah he's done stupid things, who the hell hasn't at some point? I like him because he's honest, cos he interviews well and he's got a competitive attitude. That good enough for you?

Im sure he has a good side that he showed on the show but some great editting can do wonders to make someone look worse.



Look at the Koscheck/Nurse thing. Kos looked bad on tv, but looked good in the end when we saw what wasnt shown.

If i was Miller, I'd make him go drop the .25 of a pound he couldnt make.... I believe they are aloud to do that... i know in Japan they had to give up some of their fight purse if the opponent still chose to fight them, even if it was that minute of a difference

He did drop the weight. You have an hour to drop the extra weight if you are overweight on the original weigh in. Its the same everywhere they still give the opponent some of your money if you miss weight and the fight goes on. Bisping did actually make the weight in the end.

I can't believe I am going to root for Bisping. What an idiot. I hope he wins because I WANT to see him vs Sonnen. I want the pre-fight hype and trash talk and I want to see Sonnen beat Bisping up. Please Lord, I know I haven't spoken to you in a long time put please let that arrogant azzhole win.

Bisping works for the fans. They pay him. When he became a public figure he put himself and his behavior out there for judgement by the fans. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

Personas are created and developed because they help sell seats... Yes, it does make it more fun - but what you see doesn't mean it's real now, does it?



To charachterize another person, Miller or Bisping, as a result of the perception created by the show directors/ editors... is a little silly, isn't it?



There would be a lot less trailer parks if people who spend their emotional and mental effort on TV charachters, spent it on something more productive, like improving their own lives.



I appreciate this is an extreme position to take, but so is taking what you see on TV too seriously... If you see photographs of Thailand, does that mean you have experienced Thailand? So this means, that minute on minute snap shots of a person in a particular emotional or mental state is not the living experience of who the person actually is, right?

Anyways yeahhhhh bisping was like FOOK YOU ALL and walked off. Miller looked good and the fans are behind him. Hoping to see a 3rd round sub via miller. BUT in the mean time I want to see sonnen smash the poop out of bisping! Should be a exciting fight fellas. Ill be at the casino watching this gem of a card.
