Want Pettis to win, but I see a Guida dec
Clay Guida wins by simply being a better fighter. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Pettis... but he still has a lot to learn. That's by watching his other fights
Really disappointed in Grispi....impressed by Roop tho
eating crow...sorry anton, i'll never doubt ur prediction skills again
really surpised by Cope, he looked really good, and much improved
I felt the same way... I went with Pettis based off hope... I mean it really could have went either way. Guida is more experienced and has much better wrestling. Pettis, however, is better in more areas in terms of BJJ and striking. The bottom line is, if you can't stop the wrestlers, you will lose every time.
Its a real shame one had to eliminate the other tho, two of the most likable Lightweights in the game.
got 3 fights wrong for the whole card, not to bad.
ur gonna look pretty stupid when pettis pwns guida :)
anton has his reasons 4 pickin guida, prolly alot more researched than urz, ur pickin him cuzz of the kick xD. Guida isnt gonna let mr.hype come over here push him around...he's a tested ufc vet and isn't gonna lay down and roll over like every1 wants him 2. Not hatin on AP jus think guida isn't getting his fair props...im picking AP 4 this fight but guida isnt rollin over 4 him
@Anton
glad to see that showtime kick hasn't clouded your judgment. It was a fantastic moment, key word being moment.
hard 2 find ppl who can set "the kick" aside and look at the actual match-up
...but it was a awesome kick, bet seagal taught him
I'd encourage those who think Pettis is just one kick to actually watch some of his other fights. Guida fought smart, but Pettis will be back.
thought Pettis was more effective from his back than clay was on top...
Clay couldnt hardly land a punch without having to break out of a sub, nice job stayin busy by AP kept Guida from getin a groove and startin his gnp.
Whats the big deal about requesting the link?
Zuffa is cracking down on the illegal distribution of their copy written material. Lowkick is a legitimate MMA news, and community website, and will not encourage those kinds of actions
oh compustrike is owned by zuffa and zuffa doesn't want people to have there hands on STATS? lol ok buddy
LMAO it's STATS!! who in the hell is trying to distribute stats??
thx for the info though, i didnt know about compustrike being owned by zuffa. np bro I'll just find a more FAN FRIENDLY stat engine!!
plz shut up :)
phuck u
I thought u were off to find a more fan friendly stat engine?
no thx...
SHAMAR IS TIRED. x100 in the first round joe rogan. LOOK HE TOOK A BREATHE THAT MEANS HES TIRED. oh he just landed a straight right and took him down, EVEN WHILE BEING TIRED. hes getting annoying
rogan is a douchebag, mc gillivary's getting owned
u and rogan have alot in common
come on I got under dog points on Roop
hey can someone hook me up with a... sandwich
you want pepper jack cheese on it?
wow read my mind
i was the only person who picked Roop by ko/tko in the 3rd round, even though it was just a guess.
well done, serious achievement in your otherwise worthless life
Don't get so upset, all your comments seem to be negative, it's a real shame you are'nt a happy person.
it's actually aren't... but in the future, don't get so upset
Lil Heathen is easily one of my favorite fighters to watch. Could be top 5 strictly on who I like to see in the cage.
This woo sound is so annoying... I'm watching the fight on mute.
WHOOOOOOO *back chop* (ric flair)
Chris Cope lite him up
Kingsbury vs. Maldonado is going to be a war.
On other note, Kyle Kingsbury looks like Till Lindermann, the Rammstein frontman.... lol
Damn Moldanado's body shots are sick
he reminds me of Emo Tep from the Mummy
Im giving the dec to Moldanado another pick wrong :(
I really dont think Kyle won this fight
I agree david.....I thought Moldanado won also, thought he did more damage n got takedowns here n there n when he was taken down he got bck up or sweeped Kyle quickly
I picked Maldonado too and it was a close fight. Maldonado definitely showed he had better hands, but I think he lost the fight for the simple fact that he chose to trade punches to the body for knees to the face. I don't care how nasty your body shots are, or how great your chin is, you lost that battle every time.
i actually thought it was a draw, R1 10-10, R2 10-9 K, R3 10-9 M. The takedowns in the first were the difference in the JUDGES eyes, however if i had to give the first to someone it would have been to Moldanado for his crisp boxing.I think a sweep should be as valuable as a takedown, it also annoys me that a takedown + staying on top doing fuk all can win a round Kingsbury knew that and when for takedowns every time he got hurt.
only problem with that is its a 10-9 must system judges arent aloud to give a 10-10 round
@David
THEY ARE ALLOWED, but for some reason they don't like to give 10-10 in mma which is strange considering it's common in boxing and that where these judges have done most of there work. Tune into JB show on sherdog next week he always goes in on the score cards and has info on certain judges tendency's too.
props to cecil peoples for another "WTF!?!?" moment...
Got Herman against Creduer.....just think hes more well rounded everywhere
I got Herman as well even though I wanted to Pick Tim, since I talked to him on the phone
Didn't aspect a first round KO tho
expect**** don't no how i confused those 2 words lol
THEY DO HAVE SOULS!!!
lol comment of the nite, how was the surgery, and the drugs?
lol Arby's
Here we got Pettis vs Guida...gonna b sick, only fight I can think of rite now that mite be able to beat Edgar/Maynard II....got Pettis via decision in this one
cant sit still in my seat OMgosh this is gonna kick azz XDDDDDD
Damn suck for Pettis....he showed some sick striking but he needs to work on his TDD even tho he attacks from him back in the judges eye guy on top wins (Torres/Mighty Mouse)
pettis was more effective from his back than clay was on top...this is bull
Guida wins ugly and I LOVE it!!!
WAR RAMSEY!
Yellow card......
Ya that was sad to watch....don't think Guida even landed one punch, all he did was take him down n thats about it, no real damage, no sub attempts never did anything to come close to a finish
don't be ignorant, that wasn't lay n pray. Clay was trying to do damage but Pettis is clearly dangerous off his back and showed good wrist control. So please explain to me to INTELLIGENTLY how that win for Clay was LnP
I always see that wen it comes to Defending LnP performances....KEY WORD -> Trying
i dont care if Clay rammed his shoulder into Pettis's stomach repeatedly, or put his hair in his face....only person in danger in this fight was clay...fighting off ur back is fair play. So if I try to KO some1 i still get cred if i actually did it?
well u got ur grind it out, im a blue-collar fighter, i fight to win not finish, victory....grats clay, az xpected
lol imagine if pettis did fight maynard he would of got ktfo !
WAR RAMSEY!!
He wouldnt get kod at all. Maynard would probably wrestle him just like Guida did.
nah he would of been dry humped to a decision loss.
Can someone Spanish speaking explain to me what an "El Cucuy" is?
the boogey man
Thanks Dan... I figured it had to be some type of slang when Google Translate didn't work lol
Damn....That hurts....
dangit :(
So in the end, like him or not, Ferguson won every TUF fight, including the Finale, via some form of knockout...
I agree. I felt that this finale, on paper, was one of the most competitive in a while. And I believe it was. Of course, a knockout blow turns the lights out tho and all the skills in the world can't change that. I did have Ferguson winning in the end.
who would of thought a member from team lesnar would win.
Brock? xD
said pettis had one sub attempt.
