Thirteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter will come to its conclusion, at the long anticipated Finale event at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be headlined by a fight between Tony Ferguson and Ramsey Nijem, as the veterans Clay Guida and the former WEC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis will square off in the co-main event attraction of the night.

CompuStrike Live App will be updated for all televised bouts (the main card will air starting 9PM EST). Switch between the views by clicking on fights in the bottom part of the app. And of course, feel free to discuss the fights in this post. Clay Guida wins by simply being a better fighter. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Pettis... but he still has a lot to learn. That's by watching his other fights

    I felt the same way... I went with Pettis based off hope... I mean it really could have went either way. Guida is more experienced and has much better wrestling. Pettis, however, is better in more areas in terms of BJJ and striking. The bottom line is, if you can't stop the wrestlers, you will lose every time.

    Its a real shame one had to eliminate the other tho, two of the most likable Lightweights in the game.

    anton has his reasons 4 pickin guida, prolly alot more researched than urz, ur pickin him cuzz of the kick xD. Guida isnt gonna let mr.hype come over here push him around...he's a tested ufc vet and isn't gonna lay down and roll over like every1 wants him 2. Not hatin on AP jus think guida isn't getting his fair props...im picking AP 4 this fight but guida isnt rollin over 4 him

    I'd encourage those who think Pettis is just one kick to actually watch some of his other fights. Guida fought smart, but Pettis will be back.

    I picked Maldonado too and it was a close fight. Maldonado definitely showed he had better hands, but I think he lost the fight for the simple fact that he chose to trade punches to the body for knees to the face. I don't care how nasty your body shots are, or how great your chin is, you lost that battle every time.

    i actually thought it was a draw, R1 10-10, R2 10-9 K, R3 10-9 M. The takedowns in the first were the difference in the JUDGES eyes, however if i had to give the first to someone it would have been to Moldanado for his crisp boxing.I think a sweep should be as valuable as a takedown, it also annoys me that a takedown + staying on top doing fuk all can win a round Kingsbury knew that and when for takedowns every time he got hurt.

    @David

    THEY ARE ALLOWED, but for some reason they don't like to give 10-10 in mma which is strange considering it's common in boxing and that where these judges have done most of there work. Tune into JB show on sherdog next week he always goes in on the score cards and has info on certain judges tendency's too.

    I agree. I felt that this finale, on paper, was one of the most competitive in a while. And I believe it was. Of course, a knockout blow turns the lights out tho and all the skills in the world can't change that. I did have Ferguson winning in the end.
