The event will be headlined and co-headlined by semi-final bouts, as Josh Barnett will take on Sergei Kharitonov, and Daniel Cormier will test his skills against "The Bigfoot" Antonio Silva. The Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov fight card will also feature a Middleweight title bout between Jacare Souza and Luke Rockhold.

Not much love for Bigfoot here. I predict that he chases Cormier down to 205 via bludgeoning.
Cormier said hes staying at HW for good because he cant cut weight anymore. He ruined his kidneys weight cutting and he cant do it anymore.
Did his belly have kidneys that failed too? That guy could certainly lose a good 30 pounds in fat at least.
If that's the case, then it's gonna be a tough road for him at HW. I dont deny that he has skills. His Olympic and MMA records attest to that. But if he really cant cut weight, he's gonna have tough road ahead him if he gets past Bigfoot. The winner of this tournament will prob end up in the UFC. There are def some monsters in those waters size wise. If he can neutralize Silva's size and strength, then he def stands a chance of not only winning the Grand Prix, but making a serious impact in the UFC given his skill set.

It seems that Pride HW's have great respect for each other, they must have a club where they all hang out and talk about the good old days. Josh showing Sergei how to pose to look bigger, funny stuff.

I will not be watching this fight because I will be at a boxing fight tonight, but it is going to be a great night of fights, SF always delivers, I wanted to see BFS vs Overeem, I think Silva will be top 3 HW in the world in no time so I wanted to see how he would´ve do against Overeem, I like Josh Barnett chances but I would love to see a KO from Kharitanov, I like his badass attitude...
Nice weigh advantage for bigfoot, hope it won't disadvantage Cormier too much.
