Stefan Struve vs. Pat Barry added to UFC on Versus 6
Posted on July 26, 2011, 05:41 PM by Ryan VenturaUFC.com announced today an interesting heavyweight bout that has been added to UFC on Versus 6. The 6'11, 255lbs Dutchman Stefan Struve will be taking on 5'11, 243lbs Pat Barry.
“Verbal agreements are in for a titanic battle between Stefan ‘Skyscraper’ Struve and Pat ‘HD’ Barry October 1st on UFC Live On Versus,” said UFC president Dana White. Struve is the tallest fighter among UFC heavyweights, while Barry, a full foot shorter, clocks in as the division's shortest.
The free card set to take place on October 1st in Washington D.C. will be headlined by the Batantamweight title bout between champion Dominick Cruz defending his title against "Mighty Mouse" Demetrious Johnson. Here's how the full card looks so far:
Bantamweight Championship bout: 
Dominick Cruz vs. Demetrious Johnson
Heavyweight bout: 
Stefan Struve vs. Pat Barry
Welterweight bout: Charlie Brenneman vs. Anthony Johnson
Lightweight bout: Matt Wiman vs. Mac Danzig

Well that's another horrible KO for Struve to suffer then....
I think the big Dutchman obviously has a much better ground game than Barry, but I think this fight will end up being a Kickboxing match with MMA gloves.

i hope MJ doesnt get injured during training. All these recent TUF guys I wanna see rarely make it to the fight. Brookins, MJ, Court haven't fought in a long time. I wanna see if brookins can strike, MJ can go 3 rounds and if Mcgee can become a threat in MW
Struve is always in the highlight reels getting KO'd. I've never seen him win!
i tweeted pat asking him to get this fight around 3 weeks ago, so glad its now a reality.. big fan of them both... its either gna end in KO or sub for struve.... or KO for barry, i feel the later is more likely as struve has had trouble keeping short guys on the outside such as big country for example...
