i dont like gsp i think hes kind of a fruitcake.and i want to see him lose that title but hardy not the one to do it.i want to see serra get another shot at him.or maybe jon fitch if he can knock out alves he should deserve a re-match,gsp his wrestling is going to run over hardy.and hardy wont get a chance to use his bjj in this fight. i see gsp winning it by knockout or tko in the forth or fifth round
I don't think GSP will go up to 185 for the rest of his career, but he is putting on the weight for what could possibly be a future fight with Anderson Silva. I would say that he will fight Hardy and if he wins, then he will defend against fitch if fitch can beat Alves. After that, then I see him taking 6 to 8 months off to put on some more weight to fight Silva. I figure that he will make the weight cut to 185 when and IF he can get to about 205 or 210, so it's very possible that he can put that weight on in a year's time. If GSP and A. Silva keep winning, then there is no doubt that they will fight within the next year and a half or 2 years. It will be one of the best if not the best UFC fight of all time IMO. or at least the most hyped fight.
GSP has said that if he goes up to 185, he's going to stay there because the weight cut back to 170 would be too hard.
He's also said he's fighting not to just be champion, but one of the greatest champions. Taking out anyone who has the belt at middleweight would help, but if he can takes out Silva, mission accomplished. This is why he might make the move to 185.
And maybe 'causes he's sick of beating BJ Penn. ;)
