His brash brand of one-liners never fail to spark debate between those who love him and others who hate him.
Last time, Sonnen appeared to have taken aim at the nation of Brazil while visiting the country alongside training partner Yushin Okami. After a short break from his social media assault, the Team Quest fighter recently picked up where he left off, this time with PRIDE legend Wanderlei Silva set firmly in his cross hairs (via @SonnenCH):

He did and so did Bisping...but I don't Chael cares as long as he still gets some attention out of it.
the minute Chael gets to fight Yoshin Okami...you know he'd be up all over this on his twitter making fun of Okami.

Sonnen has always made me laugh. people have been hatein on him for a long time but ive only ever been entertained. but u cant diss Wandy like that for no reason. i no longer care that hes getting screwed by athetic commision , and dont care if he fights again. F U Chael!!
I thought that Chael is funny most of the time. Wanderlei is one of the most respected and respectful fighters in MMA. I do not find him one little bit funny. I do not want to watch him get beat up, I do not want to see him win. I just want him to go away.
Chael Patrick Sonnen is a liar, a thief and a cheat. He has to use these tactics to fire up fans and target someone like Wanderlei, to use what Wanderlei had worked so hard to achieve. Play on the fans respect for a true living legend in order to convince us somehow that we want to see him fight, even if it is to just get smashed.
To stab someone in the back that had yours when you were down is a true testament to the character of Chael Sonnen. Go away bum. You are not funny anymore.
It's called marketing. Regardless of the content, it's all to hype up the fans, to keep people like you talking and thinking about the possible end fight outcome.
I don't want to watch him fight anyone..not interested at all.

sonnen may be a prick with a big mouth but the dude can fight and that is all i care about....as for this bs i don't know either fighter on a personal level so i don't care, really alll you guys need to stop acting like its hurting you in some way and just ignore sonnen. he apparently feeds off the negative but if what he does falls on deaf ears then he will get 0% attention...hope the.y. make the fight with wandy...

The guy has crappy submission defense and awful striking (marshmallow fists). The guy is way overhyped.

You obviously didnt watch the fight bro ... you need to watch it again.
Silva EVENTUALLY won the ground war ... but he got the dogshit beat out of him in the striking department. If you cant see that then you have your head in the sand and your hands on his balls.
Also Silva had to be helped from the ring all the way to his dressing room ... a guy under each of his shoulders.
But you would know that if you had actually seen the fight.

Im glad to see i am not the only one who actually watched the fight....Hope sonnen can come back to fight....he is the only fighter that will speak his mind regardless of how it makes him look. guy has balls.
I already did, and guess what? Silva had no bruises or cuts on his face at the Press Conference. Thus, Chael having zero knock out power and scoring no damage against Anderson.
it may be cruel but i would be happy to hear that sonnen got cancer or sometype of carrer ending injury i hate this dude like no other he talks to hear his own voice and tweets the dumbest shit ever carma gonna keep catchin up to him till it beats him can't wait

i know i am going to get weaked for this but wandy did kinda pull a bitch move on chael they were in a company van on the way to a the governors mansion and wandy starts talking knocking his teeth out. yes you were right chael did nothing which is what any self respecting man would of done. perhaps he should of acted like a boy and attacked a man who was in crutches in a moving vehicle on company business with a prominent public figure. not justifying his ignorant statements about brazil just saying that wand was out of line and acting in a wholly inappropriate manner in that given circumstance
