Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua discussed the reunion with his Chute Boxe coach Rafael Cordeiro and the new training camp at Kings MMA. Shogun will rematch Forrest Griffin at next month's UFC 134.

The previous encounter between two former UFC 205 Champions took place almost four years ago, at UFC 76: Knockout, ending via a third round Rear Naked Choke submission victory in favor of Forrest Griffin. The fight marked Rua's UFC debut, and was his first loss (not counting the TKO against Mark Coleman) after four years of domination in PRIDE.

Shogun's the coolest. I like when he dodges a punch or a kick and he waves his hand to the side like he just performed a magic trick.

Would like to see that too. Something out of the contecst... funny how almost everyone wanted Rampage to ko JJ and after the tweets everyone wants the opposite, or maybe there are just 2 different groups of people posting cooments and I am an instigator???

He goes up and down in the Ufc, sometimes he is a beast, sometimes looks unmotivated and with no cardio. This time arround I think he will come out with a devastating performance, seems very relaxed and in great shape, it won't be an easy night for Forrest.

Agree with posts above, he looks more muscular than I have ever seen him look. I was surprised to hear that he had no 'MMA' coach, but instead had Muay Thai coaches, Wrestling coaches, Jiu-Jitsu coaches. It seems that an overall MMA-game coach is very necessary at the highest level and may have contributed to his problems in the Jon Jones fight. Hopefully Cordiero can help him achieve the top level again.
