Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will step inside the Octagon this year with sights on bouncing back from defeat against Jon Jones, this time facing an old foe, Forrest Griffin, in a rematch from UFC 76. In his training camp for Forrest Griffin, Rua went back to his Chute Boxe roots by re-uniting with coach Rafael Cordeiro at Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, California.

The fight against Griffin at UFC 134 will be Rua's first in Brazil since 2003.

I really hope Shogun is recover , at least 70%

that should be enough to beat Forrest , he should work on his tdd to avoid Forrest LnP on him like he did with Franklin that fight was painful to watch and im not sure how brazil fans would react to that

so i hope Shogun uses his Muay Thai and pick Forrest apart

Both fighters can win this but I think in completely different ways. Shogun by early tko or Forest by dec. or late sub. The longer it goes the badder it is for Shogun. I hope Shogun comes in like he did for Machia 1, full of chmpionship level gas.
