Sherk needs to do what he's done best. Slam em, wham em thank you ma'am em. He's tried standing up and it's gotten him losses he shouldn't have taken. Stick to the ground sherk!

Its been too long since i hve seen a sherk fight, if he wins there is a possibility between a rematch against BJ, but Dunham is not joke he's been looking unstoppable, and btw they arent fighting at Fight Night 22, these guys are fighting a ufc 119

His arms are too short to box as well as he thinks he does. When you have to leap in just to land a simple jab on someone who's 5'7", you aren't meant to be boxing.

I never support boring lay-and-pray but Sherk is still one of the top three or four wrestlers in the lightweight division and that's what has gotten him to where he is. He shouldn't forget that. Maybe learn some submissions though, they combine a lot better with wrestling than Midget-arm Boxing.

i think a lot of people will underestimate sherk but you gotta remember all of his 4 losses have come to current or past champs. The guy is still at the top of the division and if he really starts to work hard on his striking game he will do great

I have always been a big believer in Sherk. He has been keeping me waiting forever though. He should watch tapes of Frankie because I think if he had that kind of style, he would be unstoppable. He is one of the strongest guys in the division.

Sherk has only lost to Penn and Edgar at LW I think, and is a tough cookie. He will need to improve though and have a great gameplan to avenge either loss.

These absence come-backs never turn out good.

Belfort had some time out and looked sharp when he came back. I agree it dont work out for many, but it depends what they do with their time out i suppose.

if sherk can learn to mix it up better i see him making another title run. he needs to get it out of his head that he is a good boxer yes his hands have improved alot but he isnt on the same level as guys like bj, edgar and florian. you have to kinda feel sorry for this guy he was wrongly stripped of his title due to a mistake by the califona athletic comission. the lab that conducted the tests didnt properly clean the diffusion machine leading to all the bolod samples getting contiaminated. the results were a false positve for sherk and two other fighters. hermes franca the fighter that actually used steriods later confessed. after two lie detector test's the C.A.C still refused to adimit wrong doing although they did reduce his suspension from one year to six months basicly time served. sadly this was to little to late the damage was already done and many still belive he is a cheater

Sherk is coming nowhere close to that title again especially after Dunham dusts him off and hangs him out to dry...
