UFC Octagon veteran Sean "The Muscle Shark" Sherk discussed his future in Mixed Martial Arts, and the possible date of his next fight in the UFC. Sherk, who last seen defeating Evan Dunham at UFC 119 via a controversial Split Decision, currently holds a professional MMA record of 36-4-1. Thirty-eight year old Sherk is not exactly known for being an active fighter; The Muscle Shark fought once in 2007, 2009 and 2010, and no more than two times a year between 2005 and 2010.

Sherk is the most underrated LW the dudes only losses are to current/former champs hes beaten some of the best guys and still people count him out. I still consider sherk a top 10 LW despite him being out of action for so long

I think he's underrated in the sense that a lot of fans don't know how legendary this guy is. However I don't think he's still relevant in the division. He's clearly not hungry, he's had a long lay off and he's fighting in the UFC's most stacked division. Moreover yeah alright he 'won' his last fight but scraping through against Evan Dunham on a questionable decision probably doesn't earn him a shot at guys like Miller or Guillar or Bendo. If Guida or Bendo still haven't earned shots yet then SS still has a long way to go before he can rock it with the upper echelon of the division again.

dont get me wrong, i like sherk, but how can you say how legendary the guy is when his losses have been against the champs?and correct me if im wrong but when he held the title he only defended it against hermes franca then he lost the belt after testing positive for juice? and most recently he won a dodgy split over dunham. Tough yes, good record yes, legend no.

sean sherk is the only midget that could potentially rape a man.....but no, seriously i like the guy, give him G sop or sum1 like that, be good to see him fight again, after i seen him fight then i will decide if he can crack the division once again...although i doubt he can LW division is stacked.
