Rumor: Brock Lesnar returns to WWE at tonight's WrestleMania 28?

This one is actually not an April Fools' joke.

According to Yahoo! Sports, former UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar could make his return to WWE at tonight's Wrestlemania 28 in Miami, Florida. Lesnar is getting closer and closer to WWE return, as the negotiations with Vince McMahon are already underway.

Here's one of the suggested scenarios for Lesnar's second coming:

There is no way Brock Lesnar would come back to the WWE without being included in the main event scene. He's far too popular to start from the bottom of the card. So don't be alarmed to see Lesnar interfere in the John Cena versus The Rock main event. There has been some speculation that Lesnar would make his in-ring return at Summerslam. The Rock has already been confirmed to be wrestling at the annual summer event. Could Lesnar be the deciding factor in the Cena/Rock brawl? I would not be startled to see Lesnar run-in and give Rock the F-5, thus allowing Cena the cheap win and setting up a future The Rock versus Brock Lesnar match for Summerslam 2012.

Meanwhile, WrestlingObserver's Dave Meltzer reported that Lesnar is already in Miami, looking to play his part in tonight's staged action at the sold-out Sun Life Stadium (via BloodyElbow.com):

Brock Lesnar has arrived in Miami and arrived with security and a large group of people shielding him from everyone. This is the going story, but not confirmed, that Lesnar has signed a one year deal and will work a more than Undertaker and less than Goldberg type of schedule.

Moreover, MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani quoted the UFC President Dana White, who stated it's "ok" if Lesnar returns to WWE. Brock Lesnar retired from Mixed Martial Arts competition after losing to Alistair Overeem via TKO at UFC 141. Lesnar's MMA record stands at 5 victories and 3 losses.

Power to him,he probably makes a million bucks easily without much injuries. And he actually made a decent run in the UFC, deserves some respect, beating mir, and surviving carwins onslaught and coming back was impressive. And to say a wwe guy beat heath herring in an mma fight is also quite impressive since heaths a really experienced guy in mma. Brock deserves some respect

True. He's still a **** though. Never liked him since that fight with Mir when at the end he started running his mouth and gobbing on cameras.

GuestI couldn't agree with you more, he is such a big P---Y, he can't take getting hit for real, so he runs back to being a FAKE ASS LOSER.

He didn't deserve any title shot at all after only 4 fights in the UFC, it was only because of his name that he got the shot and not because of any talent what so ever....LMAO..thats right brock go back to the fake world where you belong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always thought that Brock was overrated!!!!

He clearly lost to Carwin, it was pure luck and inaction from the referee that he even made it to the second round of that fight!

I say good riddance to him and wish him mush success in the fake, choreographed and lucrative world of the WWE!

Lesnar will probably be the only man to ever come into the UFC with a 1-1 record, and beat 3 , Top 5 heavyweights in a row. Despite what the haters say, he deserved to be where he was at.

People said he didn't pay his dues, might be true when he got his title shot, but after beating Randy, Mir, and then Carwin, there was no doubt he belonged there at the time.

Now he doesn't have to get beat up to make a mill. The HWD is deeper than ever so with that being said, smart choice big guy.

Brock was lucky he got in the ufc when he did cause he clearly had nothing to offer against the current top HW fighters.

Why the hell would you say that?

That's like saying the same for Franklin, Couture, Miletich and Hughes - they would all get beat against the top fighters in their respective divisions now even though they did great back in their day.

    It's not luck, it's evolution.

Current fighters that would badly beat him would be reem, velazques, and dos santos.

But mir, carwin, werdum, nog and after strikeforce heavy weight div expiresof these fighters brock probably beats most of them, and I think he can take bigfoot maybe too. Im not a brock fan really,

But I doubt that he can take cormier, hes very similar to velasquez with even better wrestling(olympic caliber) and knockout power. And barnett has more experience than lesnar and a better submission game.

Cormier is a tough one...he will go far but Reem is the one with staying power!

Dana just said on Twitter and FB that the rumors circling WWE tonight will make the event good, pretty much saying he knows Lesnar is going.
