Roy Nelson said Carwin pulled out of the fight cause he was scared about failing the drug test, here is what he wrote on twitter...

“Just woke up some one told me about shane not going to past the drug test, or he was scared to fight because of my bad knee, bad hair, bad attitude.”

That was the first thing that occurred to me. If this had anything to do with Shane being named as a customer for that roid supplier.

Back pain is the most ambiguous injury someone can claim. Unlike a specific joint where the damage can usually be seen on MRI, back pain is the easiest thing to lie about.

if there is anything wrong with your spine such as a pinched disk or anything to that nature they can see it with mri or cet scan i have had several if it is a muscular problem then no it cant really be detected or diagnosed but that wouldnt require surgery

He did say it was from twitter so presumably you could go on Roy Nelson's twitter page and read his quote so how about you go do that and tell us whether or not he's lying to us instead of speculating.

well it says it on his twitter page so just go have a look, or check mmabay.

why would i lie about this? what would be the point? and it wouldn't be hard to catch me out if i was seeing as it says he wrote it on his twitter page so instead of writing that comment you could have just checked his twitter page.

Yeah, I'm just saying that the back is the most common choice when you're trying to lie about chronic pain and don't want doctors to be able to rule it out. It's why people who scam worker's comp tend to go with back injuries.

And this is why I hate Roy Nelson. He kept asking for Big Nog ever since the Dos Santos fight because he didn't want to have to fight Carwin like everybody was expecting for the UFC to put together. Breathe a sigh of relief Big Country you don't have to fight him.

Odd... Because Carwin has claimed that Nelson was the one that started their "friction" to begin with.

That's pretty low of a statement. Especially since Carwin is having surgery this coming Tuesday. I expect Shane to come back & KO Nelson.

All kung fu panda would have to do is survive the first round (and he could), then this fight would be his. I believe Roy has slightly better cardio, as ridiculous as it appears.

I'm pretty sure Roy was joking, because right after he posted that he posted something else which alluded to joking.

If Brock submitted carwin don't you think Nelson could easy. I never believed in Carwin he is just another guy Diana is hyping up. His technical skills are a joke. Cain is another guy on that hyped up list, if he can beat Dos santos I'll give him some respect.

and how does dos santos count as the man to test whether cain is hype? basically you're saying everyone in the ufc hw division is hype then i guess...Carwin has also KO'd his way (mir, gonzaga) to fight brock lesnar where he almost finished in the same fashion...

Cain has had a few good victories now. he only needs a couple more and he will be an established #1 or #2 fighter. lesnar was the official #1 but some of us knew he wasn't worthy of that spot. Right now it's a grey area as to who the best HW in the world is, but if strikeforces HW's don't start competing more and Cain gets a few more wins then it's reasonable to say he is #1. For me I still have fedor as #1 but he needs to win his next fight and fight a little more often.
