Cain Velasquez
The whole ring-rust thing, that is an issue, but there's nothing we can do about it. I've done all the work I could in the gym, I feel great, so the only thing left to do is go out and fight. ... We know he has great boxing. He wants to fight standing, and we're trying to do everything in this fight, but if we can take it to the ground, we will definitely have the advantage there. We've prepared for (his takedown defense). We know his takedown defense is good, it's really good, but I think in those situations we can definitely exploit him still.
Alistair Overeem
(Velasquez vs. Dos Santos) is going to be hard to pick. Basically, the decisive factor will be form on the day and strategy. I do favor Cain slightly, a bit. When I look at his fight style, it's more all-around. I think he's going to have a solid gameplan. He has very good cardio, so I do favor Cain. ... I don't really favor opponents, I always fight whoever. I believe I'm number-one, so I have to face everybody, right? And be able to face everybody. For me, it doesn't matter. I've already had numerous hard battles in my career. I don't care who I'm fighting, I'm going to show who is best.
