Rampage vs Evans set in stone for UFC 114
Posted on March 18, 2010, 02:09 PM by Daniel CassidyUFC officials today confirmed that, as expected, UFC 114 will be headlined by a Lightheavyweight fight between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and "Sugar" Rashad Evans. Fighters have agreed and signed the deals for said fight, taking place May 29th in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.Both fighters served as coaches on the 10th series of The Ultimate Fighter, and many a verbal blow was exchanged.
Both fighters shared an almost unhealthy amount of trash talk, and it's no secret how much they dislike each other, and almost came to blows on more than one occasion.UFC president Dana White had this to say, about the upcoming match:
"It's no secret that Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans don't like each other, and this rivalry has gotten more and more intense in the last few months," said White. "I can guarantee you that neither one of these guys wants to lose to each other, this fight is going to be insane.
"Tickets for the event are priced a t$650, $450, $300, $200, $125 and $75(not including handling fee's etc) and go on sale March 27th. The card is also expected to feature bouts between

Whats so damn poor? Forrest its gonna win! i dont know how many times people have said that forrest sucks and shit. He is the most underated fighter in the hole ufc. He is the underdog almost every fight and he wins the most of them
yeh u have 2 remember forrest beat rampage and shogun(who beat lil nog in pride) so he is a good fighter.

You need to rewatch the forrest rampage fight a lot of people think shogun beat machida (I agree but I think it was much closer than forrest rampage) but you have to decisively BEAT the champ Forrest did not Rampage got screwed. I wanted to see Rampage Rashad then. You cant tell Forrest EARNED a title fight before an undefeated Rashad. Im still excited to see this fight although I dont think it will be what it could have been given Rampages ring rust. Forrest is gonna get crushed again he is the most OVERRATED fighter ever! Hopefully he will get his walking papers and cry all the home!

Rampage is going to destroy Rashad, and then maybe we will get to see Rampage vs Shogun rematch, that would be sick and this card is stacked hopefully there aren't any injuries

It will be over a year since Rampage has fought his last fight was Jardine at "96" I think, but im still giving it to Rampage especially if Evans is moving away from his stand up style, and back to wrestling. Hopefully he stands and bangs with Rampage.
