Rampage signs for the UFC 114 bout against Rashad Evans

According to the reports, Rampage Jackson has officially signed to fight his Ultimate Fighter 10 arch nemesis Rashad Evans at the UFC 114 main event.
With phrases like 'Stanky Leg' were thrown around it seemed the two may not be able to fight as Jackson had gone into retirement. Recently though MMA fans were happy to hear that he was back in training and gunning for Rashad in his return fight.
UFC 114 will take place on May the 29th at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada. The co-main event of the evening will be an already confirmed bout between Forrest Griffin and Rogerio Nogueira.

So, the last time you watched MMA was Pride 5 years ago then...
did you see the ramage henderson fight?rashads wrestling will mean nothing rampage can nullify it easily, thiago silva was able to after all, he just got straight back up every time rashad took him down
rashad did like 0 damage on the ground, his ground game is over hyped, its mediocre, rampage can easily handle him
Wrestling doesn't mean ground-game. The reason Chuck was such a dominant KO artist, was because of his wrestling. If you can't take a boxer down, then you have to trade with them. That's why Rashad's wrestling is useful, it's hard to take wrestlers down.
Rampage doesn't need to take rashad down, rashad needs to take rampage down, which he will not be able to and will eventually get ko'd

That Ricardo Arona body slam was 6 years ago... Rashad got smashed by Lyoto, but so what? Only one guy to face him hasn't. Rashad is way too fast for him IMO. And hopefully when Quinton is lying there out-cold, Rashad will land several powerful bombs to his face and send him in to a seizure like Jackson did to Silva.
people underestimate rampages speed, and rashad didnt seem so fast when thiago caught him in that third round! (and before you say 'he was tired because of his takedown attempts' i know that, but i also know that those takedowns effectively did nothing) as for jackson being out cold, only 2 people have done that effectively (wand and shogun) and i seem to remember a lot of knees in dose fights. rashad relies on his hands. rampage went 4/5 rounds in pride with chuck liddel when chuck was at his best and destroyed chuck! do u really think rashads power is anything compared to what chucks was? also those fights were all in pride where jackson lacked proper sparring partners and shogun chuck wand were pretty unstoppable at the time. now jackson is well trained and EXTREMEMLY motivated and rashad will never be as good as shogun wanderlei or chuck in their primes

Rampage hasn't slammed an opponent in a while.....Rashad needs a good slamming to show him he's not on the same level as Jackson.
