At 5:00, Rampage bullrushes Toney, shoots a double leg, picks him up and slams him. Toney rolls to his side, because he is dazed and still absolutely and completely clueless about the ground game.
At 4:55, Rampage takes mount and begins to drop bombs on Toney.
At 4:50, Toney is unconcious and Rampage is still punching.
At 4:45, Big John manages to pull Rampage off, but not before he lands at least 4 more bombs to a very unconcious Toney.
An hour later, James Toney wakes up in the hospital. His normally damn near unintelligible voice is now completely impossible to understand. Now that he can no longer effectively communicate through speech, he opens a twitter account, and calls out Alistair Overeem and David Haye.
Just talking can get you a fight with a legit contender in the LHW division of the UFC nowadays? I hope not. This fight would be a complete waste of time and promoting, and would likely end even faster than against Couture. Don't waste your time and effort with James 'irrelevant' Toney Rampage.
I feel like James Toney's usefulness ran out the second he tapped to Randy, and now he should just mind his own business. He talked a lot of crap about MMA being for homos and other absurd statements, and I am a fan that remembers it. He simply wants another payday, and hopefully Rampage won't continue to ease him on by responding like this. It may be entertaining but I would very much prefer to see Rampage fight Shogun down the road rather than waste his time on a bum.
i hope this fight doesn't happen... even though would love to see rampage put a beating on toney.

i feel the only boxers that may have some succes in mma are really quick, athletic boxers, that will be able to avoid takedowns, use foot work to get in and out.

Don't jump on me, but I think that even if the fight stood standing, Rampage would still win. Don't forget, he has a 2-0 kickboxing record, that's gotta count for something vs solely a boxer.

Not everyone can finish as strongly as GSP. And machida may have won that fight, but rampage needed it to stay safe in the UFC so it's a donation.
