Jackson also spoke about his recently announced rematch with Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, and when the Mixed Martia Arts fans around the world can expect the match-up to become a reality. That has to be one of the most disgusting interviews I have ever watched.
He is so out of touch with reality its scary. And she is almost as disturbing as he is. PLEASE just go away rampage PLEASE.
you go away. why the hell are mma fans so damn judgemental. Its his life his job. his choices to make. The way I see it Rampage should do whatever makes HIM happy.
I disagree. He was spot on with the Anderson Silva comment for sure. The guy is the colossus king undisputed legend of mma. The so called 'contradictions' show rampage has a SOUL. He questions himself sometimes which actually shows rational thinking and keeps him in touch with who he really is rather than conforming like most do through fear, shame etc...
Rampage is telling the truth. He has fought K1 and likes to kick. He normally can't through injury. My level of respect for him has gone up a notch. He does make some ignorant comments though, but that's exactly what they are, ignorant rather than malicious. He also does have a crude sense of humour, but that really is him and that's why he can get away with it in his energy field.
I hope this comment has opened up some minds.
I forgot to add. Her husband has admirable self control.
Exactly. It is his LIFE JOB. That is why Rampage should act like a professional and not like an idiot. This is just more complaining, whining, disrespect, and excuses. If he acted like a professional, he would not get criticized so much, and be treated respectfully. He willingly puts himself in the public eye, and by doing so, he opens himself up to judgement by the WAY HE ACTS. It's HIS responsibility. He is nothing but a virus to the UFC now and has nothing positive to offer. And as long as he is an employee of the UFC, it is NOT his choice to make.
I disagree with the first comment. I replied to the wrong comment. May I also add, this is the reales rampage interview of them all. His losses are explained to an extent to me and those injuries sound legit and he provides names of the perpetrators and doctors etc...
He is extremely under promoted. The guy is a rock n roll star.
oh hey cage, you commented on a rampage status! trying new things i see
45 min of him making excuses but saying he's keeping it real. Anyway i still think we should not judge him and let him do what he wants to do. If he wants to fight i'll be watching his next fight for sure, if he doesn't, well that's his choice. To each his own life.
He can do w/e he wants, I just don't appreciate being lied to, and he contradicts himself every time he speaks nowdays.
I could make a long list of all the contradictions, but it would take too much time that I don't have atm
Great interview.. Rampage always keeps it real. He says it as it is, no sugarcoating. Love him or hate him for it but he's one of the realest dudes in the game and since when is an injury an "excuse"? You don't walk around with the pain to make that kind of judgements. Rampage should be respected as a fighter and he's just not getting that respect. Just because he's at the low point of his career because of all these injuries that dont mean he deserves any less respect. I do believe the UFC throws fighters under the bus when they perform less than expected and not always rightfully so. People need to learn to keep an open mind. After all theyre fighters but they're still human and get hurt and get challenged by all kinds of trials and tribulations as all of us in life. Don't be to quick to judge!
So the "realest dudes" say on tuesday "I hope I get Shogun I got my MRI im great now", and then say on thursday once he gets Shogun "both knees need surgery"???
That's real?
Damn knee grow, stop bitching!! MMA ain't the WWE!! If I could hand pick my oponents I would've been a pro. I'd just picked groundguys and submitted my way to the top. But this is MIXED Martial Arts, if you don't like it take your beating, by better, more well rounded opponents, with better strategy, like a man and go to boxing or kickboxing where there is no ground game. Or the WWE. Just shut the F up already, you're making a fool of yourself, boy.
does ANYONE actually wanna see page fight again? look at his last five fights, all dissapointments. i dont see how hes gonna come off a long layoff and get fully back in shape and get sharp and motivated again, all for one last fight in a company that he does not respect (out of delusion). if he eventually takes this fight he will get just as humiliated by shogun as he did the first time. shoguns still a true fighter, rampage isnt.
i seriosly cant be the only one fed up seeing video's or statements of rampage explaining his decisions n excuses?
rampage is right in a way the ufc needs to promote the brand as much as it can and no 1 fighter is bigger than the organization but its the fighters who make the brand strong so yeah hes right fighters like silva, jones, gsp and the like need to be promoted far far more
but he never should of fought injured for fightings sake he fights injured and then bitch when people say his heart isnt in it WELL WE DIDNT KNOW U WERE ****EN INJURED so what else are we meant to think
