Middleweight veteran Wanderlei Silva, who will face promotional newcomer Cung Le at UFC 139, prepares for the former Strikeforce champ alongside coach Rafael Cordeiro at King's MMA. Cordeiro is confident that Silva still belongs among the division's elite and says that Le is "going to sleep with brutality" when the two meet on November 19th.

I hope you're right Cordeiro. Wanderlei's never lost to an Asian before, and he doesn't need to start now.

I have a lot of respect for Cordeiro but his fighters haven't exactly had stellar win/loss ratios in SF/UFC. I srsly think Wand should try to take Cung Le down and try to submit him - standing and banging hasn't worked so well of late for him.

"among the division's elite" .. says coach Rafael Cordeiro.

    2-6 since 2006 isn't elite.

Dana needs to FORCE this dude to retire ... I can't believe they keep rolling him out.

Never count out the heart of a warrior, did everyone forget Tito, I mean sure Chung has to be -200 or more, but you never know in this sport.

Don't forget that Cordeiro mentioned "can be" before "predictable." Some words can be taken out of context if not labeled properly.

I don't know who is more Predictable. We all know what Silva do, He's a Banger, Hopefully he won't get Cung Pregnant by Banging too much on him. :)

The only thing in Silva's favour is how long Cung Le has been out. A bit of ring rust perhaps, but even with that his skill set is way beyond that of Silva's. I would say however, that if Cung Le is going to fight regularly in the UFC he will need to improve his wrestling quite a bit as there's some great wrestlers in the UFC that nullify great stand up quite often, though Silva is not one of these so I think it's gonna be a bad night for Silva. Would have preferred to see Le at WW though as I'm sure he could make weight very easy and is rather small for a MW.

KOTN for sure, Wand's chin is just gone for this to even be a good fight.
