Quinton "Rampage" Jackson regrets he did the A-Team movie
Posted on May 30, 2010, 09:03 AM by Anton Gurevich
Speaking at the UFC 114 post-fight press conference, Rampage Jackson admitted that taking part in the upcoming blockbuster "The A-Team" hurt his chances to earn a shot at Shogun Rua's newly won UFC Light Heavyweight title. Rampage said "now I can almost regret I did that damn movie", expressing his frustration with being unable to weather the storm against Rashad Evans.
Coming after a long layoff, Rampage struggled to find his trademarked aggression that helped him to win 30 bouts in his Mixed Martial Arts career. Jackson's last fight was against Keith Jardine at UFC 96, as Rashad Evans fought twice since then, against the top Light Heavyweights Lyoto Machida and Thiago Silva.
Rampage may find himself in the cage with "The Dragon" Lyoto Machida in his next fight, in what could be one of the most anticipated striking battles in UFC history. Both fighters are looking to bounce back from defeats in their last fights, with sights on another run at the top of the UFC Light Heavyweight division.

i agree with him, ringrust was clearly a factor and hed win the rematch....in the first rounds ampage was VERY VERY poor and yet he still nearly won it in the third!! really do feel sorry for rashad having to fight shogun now
bottom line is after this rampage is gonna be stronger cos hes got sumtin to prove to himself now...lookin forward to his next fight, rampage FTW!!
Hughecleavage I think that your brain is stuck in your cleavage! That is what Rampage is about...entertaining and talking smack he's funny as sh1t and he is going to go work hard and be back for a rematch...don't be a retard!
BLA BLA BLA, all i hear about rampage is excuse. Jesus there is no excuse for his loss he said that he was training harder then ever and now what? EXCUSE EXCUSE EXCUSE. Rampage was a **** in TUF and before the fight rampage was like aaahhh Rashad im going to kill you, you aint no fighter, you can never be in my level and more. Sorry i cant show respect to a guy who whining like a B!tch. Rashad beat the best rampage that ever lived buttom line.
dude your an idiot how is saying that he regrets making the A-team movie being a sore loser? its the truth that shit distracts you. He didnt even talk shit. only thing was he said rashad could kiss his ass but thats rampage being rampage and rashad said the same thing. i was disapointed in the fight tho. i was really hoping someone would get ktfo. good thing we had the ufc 2010 undisputed promotion.
I like Rampage but he needs to Stop with the excuses
I had a feeling that Rampage was going to have some cage rust, but who's fault was it? Rashad won the fight.
Quinton Jackson has the hardest time making up his mind
Just dropped by to read his excuses I knew were coming.
EXCUSES
Maybe it's because I'm not a fighter, but if you train everyday in a ring/cage how can you get ring rust?
wow
damn thats a whole lot of excuses from a guy that said he's ready for the fight and said his training was the best he ever had
The fight not bad at all, draw a lot of people there ,anyway, they
both doing good as a fighter ,just can't stand someone for excuses
stepped in the ring or battle field you Do or Die ,gotta leave personal issues behind, but hopefully Rampage really mean i'm a grow ass dude, learn from mistake c'mom comeback stronger ever and prove it
I am really happy to see that this experience has refocused Rampage into a pure fighter again. Anyone that don't think that the ringrust and the A-Team movie was a factor are obviously just haters.
He said he's never been so focused for a fight in his life. Also movies are finished 1 to 1 1/2 years before they are released in theaters so he had plenty of time
All the rampage haters are out and blabbin. Shut all your pie holes, you are all jelious because he is a fighter and a movie star. Rampage rule$!
