Quick Quote: Josh Koscheck hits back at Dana White and the fansPosted on June 2, 2010, 07:45 AM by Anton Gurevich
Speaking via MMAJunkie.com, number one contender for the UFC Welterweight title Josh "Kos" Koscheck shared his thoughts about his current relationship with the UFC President Dana White, and the fans who already got used to criticize the 15-4 challenger. Known for his questionable tactics inside the cage, Koscheck had a good choice of words for his boss and the fans:
"Dana doesn’t like me, and I don’t like him. That’s fine. If you knew me in person, and if you got to hang out with me – my down time away from the TV – I’m a lot different person [...] The fans might not like me, but guess what – I win fights, and that’s the bottom line. I was like, ‘I know they’re going to boo, and if they boo, I’ve got to have some reaction for those [expletives].’ I was like, ‘These [expletive] suckers are going to get it when I get that microphone.’ I’m a fighter.
What are they going to do? They hate until they see me; once they see me, they kiss my ass. It’s like Dennis Rodman, one of the best rebounders in the NBA ever. He didn’t get noticed and start making real money until he started acting crazy. So, you never know. Maybe I’ll come out in a wedding dress when I fight St-Pierre.”
Both Josh Koscheck and Georges St. Pierre will coach at the upcoming Ultimate Fighter 12 show, which will air sometime during September. Koscheck is currently on a three-fight winning streak, after defeating Frank Trigg, Anthony Johnson and Paul Daley. In his last defeat Koscheck was knocked out by Paulo Thiago at UFC 95.
