According to LowKick.com members, reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon "Bones" Jones will step inside the Octagon at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, as the #1 ranked Light Heavyweight on the planet. Jones' opponent, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, is currently ranked 4th, behind the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and "Suga" Rashad Evans. If victorious against Jones, Rampage is expected to capture the 1st spot in the rankings, as well as a ticket to P4P territory.

Speaking about Pound-for-Pound, Jon "Bones" Jones is currently in Top 5, behind Jose Aldo, Georges St. Pierre, and Anderson "The Spider" Silva. And of course, if Jon Jones manages to convincingly defeat Rampage, there would be no doubt about his credentials as Top 3 MMA fighter on the planet.

LowKick.com Community Rankings will be re-opened again on October 11th. Three days after UFC 136: Edgar vs. Maynard III, and these whole series of MMA-frenzy weekends that include UFC 135, UFC on Versus: Cruz vs. Johnson and UFC 136 events back to back.

LHW doesnt seem so stacked anymore. Top 5 are the lethal ones. If and when Shogun blasts Hendo it will be proven true. I like Hendo too....

So Dan Henderson is on the P4P list just because he beat Fedor on the downhill part of his career??? Wtf the guy hasnt fought a top contender since 08 and left the UFC!!!

Dan Henderson may be on the P4P list because he is a multiple time champion in at least 2 different organizations at 2 different weight classes... because he has fought nearly all of the top fighters in the world at both 185 and 205... because he is the current Strikeforce Champ - in a division that includes King Mo, Gegard Mousasi, and Feijao - all who were recently in the top 10 on this site.

What I don't understand is why he is on the P4P list when the 4 of the 5 guys ranked above him IN HIS OWN WEIGHT DIVISION are not.... a little consistency with your rankings please people...
