If lesnar doesnt get selfish he can win this. but i just see dos santos making a good relationship with his guys and working them good enough for his team to win the TUF

I saw that too...at the end of the show, you kinda saw Brock belittling his guys, calling them "chicken-sh*t". He seems so hot headed. While JDS may struggle with his English, he seems to have the advantage in communicating with his team better.

The tuf show has a long reputation of using clips to mislead people in believing something when the opposite is the actual truth.

Lesnar has a better chance of winning the show than the fight.

Thats a pretty awesome bunch of dudes anyway that are amoung the best in skill criteria so should be able to teach a lot of skill rather than just show how to work out properly most of the time.

If you are right about that, I feel sorry for Brock and his camp. I'm not knocking his camp or anything, but it's kind of hard to compete against that or any other lineup from Brazil.

Isn't Brock the one with least experience on his team???

What advice is he gonna give the guys? "You have to be bigger and stronger than your opponent" That's something you can't teach a fighter. Sure you can do lots of strength training but if you're not a heavyweight you can only train strenght to a certain point before your muscles grow to big and you get to heavy for your weightclass.

Brock should pay attention, he might learn a lot from these guys. They are, after all mma artists. Brock is a ufc fighter in the sport of mma.

from what I have understod he was good at wrestling only because he was the biggest dude wrestling. He's old wrestling coach said somewhere, after he won the title, that he did the same thing he did in wrestling. Used his size to his advantage.

I've said it before. If Brock would loose 110lbs he would get loose to Cristiane Cyborg Santos in mma, boxing, muay thay, submission wrestling, heck even in wrestling.

He's a BIG bully, that's it. Who has lost 40% of his mma fights, and 50% of his fights in the ufc.

I just don't get the hype with this guy. What the heck has he to give to the sport of mma? Except cash in the pockets of Dana and the Zuffas by bringing lots of viewers from wwe.

He won the heavyweight title in the ufc by being the biggest dude in the ufc, wrestling can't be that different, can it??

He definetly has to be good but I doubt he is amoung the best. A top 100 guy could beat a top 5 guy if he had 20 or 30 lbs on him easily.

In my honest opinion people that enjoy Brocks fights might as well watch a silverback gorilla fight. They're strong and explosive and would surely win everybody, but it wouldn't have anything to do with technique, tactics or skill. Just brute force. And to me that isn't what mma is about, or any martial arts for that matter.

To me it has always been about technique and tactics winning over size and brute strenght. That's the beauty of martial arts, it's not just two guys measuring strength, it's two warriors measuring wits, skill, strength and hart.

No, Brock vs Cain proves my point.

Brock won the title when smaller technical guys, like Randy, beat big guys. Brock was the first big AND athletic guy, but he had, nor has he now, no technique. But along came guys like Cain, who is big (not nearly as big as Brock) and HAS technique and tactics, and he dominated Brock. Cain would still loose to a silverback, but it proves my point. Martial arts is about mind over matter, brains over muscle and that is why I don't like Brock. He gave the wrong picture to millions of fans. Fans that to this day, even after Cain showed just how one dimensional Brock is, think Brock is a good fighter.

Like I said, but edub chose to ignore, take 110lbs away from Brock and he would loose to Cyborg Santos. Just because she has better overall technique. Cain wouldn't

I'm sorry I didn't notice that your posts where directed at Falcon4917.

But now that you finally said something about my Cyborg point I have to reply. Cyborg is a women, most male fighters would beat a female fighter their size. Brock wouldn't because he only has size and speed.

I don't dislike Brock as a person, but as a fighter I think he's the most overated thing in mma ever. And his fans have no knowledge of the sport. He will never again be the champ. There are fighters that are big, technical and smart out there who will beat him. He had his 15 minutes. Just like Fedor and Randy can't roll with the new heavyweights. Big guys that have allround skills. Cain, Overeem, Carwin, JDS, Brendan Schaub even Antonio Silva could all beat Brock. Perhaps even Werdum.

Yeah! We disagree, I like to watch fighters that I can learn something from. And as I'm a middleweight there ain't a hole lot I can learn from Brock.

Cristiane Cyborg Santos is a woman, a maskuline woman, but still very much female.

I had my first NHB (mma in the good ol' days) fight in -96, I've gone over 20 fights lost 4. I had to quit due to a back injury in -04 but I coach mma, sambo and submission wrestling. So my knowledge isn't profound, but I know somethings, and one thing I know is Brock has poor striking and overall stand up, poor submissions, ok wrestling (but nothing compared to for example Hamill), good speed, great strength and no defence what so ever.

And the next generation has nothing to learn from him, except perhaps that they should juice up so that they get big and strong.

From what I gather, we agree that Brock is not the best of the best wrestlers.Right?

I see dos Santos being that coach that will be be happy with his team no matter win or lose he just wants them to learn, that if they can up there game in the cage it'll be worth it.

I'm not a Brock fan, but I think it's kind of messed up that people still say he hasnt proven himself yet. He beat Randy, Mir, and Carwin, and taking out those 3 names is more than the majority of the current HW division could say for themselves.

Even not liking him, he should get some credit for that, with as small of a record as he has, having beat the big names like that.

How many others in HW have done that?
