I think it should be either the winner of Fitch/Hendrix or Diaz/Penn

I'm leaning more towards the Fitch/Hendrix winner(which I'm pretty confident that Fitch will beat Hendrix). I say this since I would like to see Diaz fight GSP in the event that they both win. This shows that GSP has a few more people to beat before the whole Anderson Silva thing should be considered.

Penn wins...GSP bucks Condit by Wrestle**** Decision/Beating/still doesnt finish a goddamn fight but its better than that 10 year old girls kickboxing match with shields...Elllenberger gets Penn for title...GSP vs Silva 1.5 years later and its still medium relevent bc Silva is the best 37-38 year old fighter ever

Exactly what I was thinking. We get to see how good his TDD really is and/or how good Fitch's striking is. I don't think Hendricks is going to beat him, but Ellenberger might.

I'd agree, but the only problem is that Fitch already has a fight lined up and it's a waya away at UFC 141. However, I think if Hendricks got injured then Ellenberger would be an EXCELLENT fill in.

Anthony Johson is a guy who could really make an impact at Welterweight if he could just get that "one" win... That spectacular "did that just happen" win. I say this because his time off seems to have really slowed his momentum and even tho just winning will get him there in time, winning big will get him there much quicker.

I think Rory makes sense.... both kinda in the same place in their careers... winner of that gets a top 5 fight for title shot....

PS: I know Rory's fighting soon but if he were to win that fight then Ellenberger and Rory at 5 wins in the UFC and only loses to Condit...

Why is that important? he deserved anyone in a poll, just give him a fight and make it happen quick thats what important for me as a fan...

Cuz polls are fun. Most of us would like to see him in the cage as soon as possible, but cool to think about who he "should" be fighting next.

Honestly, considering what he did to Shields, he is the #1 contender IMO. I say give him the winner of GSP V Condit.

I voted other (#1 contender status) but to be fair to that one guy that wants to see an immediate rematch , that was one of those fights that was over too quickly to really tell who was better. Who knows, if the ref let it go on we may have seen a replay of what happened in the Shields V Hendo fight. For my part, if they do fight again I will pick Jake Shields to win.

I wanna see Chris Weidman fight any one of these top guys.Ellenberger should fight the loser of Condit GSP and if he wins that fight get a title shot next title shot should go to Penn or Diaz.
