You're typing a bunch of mess.... Rampage is primarily a WRESTLER who loves to BOX... Rampage wrestling (when he feels like using it) is just as strong as Rashad's. Last year Rampage was not in shape.. he was heavy.. slow.. rusty.. hardly trained.. thats the only reason why Rashad beat him. Rampage will SMASH him in a rematch i put my HOUSE on that...

Not to mention Rampage is only TWO years older than Rashad... so the only thing "new" Rashad is bringing to the table is LESS experience...

Sure he can; Tito "CAN" beat Jones, hell anybody in the UFC is capable of a win over any other fighter if all the stars align. The question is will he defeat Jones? I wouldnt put money on it.

OK my prediction is that Rampage will not beat Jones based on the fact that he could not KO Hamill and he barely beat Machida.

A fighter has to have a knockout factor, the ability to go in and let everything out, Jackson has been grinding out decisions he has become way too careful and calculated, a fighter that cans his strategy will not beat Jones who sees right through those plans and uses his wild and unpredictable combinations to derail any said plan.

weak me all you want but i'm tired of everyone talking about rashad vs jones. people look at it like rampage has already lost..just like many times before it has been said.you can't call a fight until it happens.nobody knows whats going to happen. i personally hope rampage wins just to shut up all the people that over looked him

Well I think you asked the wrong question. If you asked WILL he beat Jon Jones I would have voted NO in a heartbeat.

However, you asked CAN he beat Jones. This is MMA and anything can happen. Of course the #1 contender can beat the champ.

you guys are stupid, rashad already beat rampage so dont have any illusions rampage is going to smash jones then smash rashad.. jones is a tough test but personally I dont think jon jones has fought enough high caliber guys to show where he really is.. I think if anyone knows what you can expose of it its a guy (rashad) whos trained side by side with him since he joined the sport. Imo, rashads to evolved for anyone right now.. but its definitely alot closer than most people think..

You obviously never watched Rashad get picked apart by Machida. Now add someone with a helluva lot more reach, finishing power and ground dominance to that. The result will be Evans praying for a rematch with Rampage rather than being at the receiving end of so many knees and elbows from the champion.

No one has figured JJ out and I doubt Rampage or Rashad will, although a good punch from Rampage can change the reality of everything. I would love to see Machida vs JJ but Machida will need 1 or 2 more wins, perhaps Phil Davis and/or Forrest.

Rashad is more than capable of beating Bones, if he looked that impressive after an 18 month lay off what's he going to be like when he's fighting regularly. His striking looked better, his TDD was good and even his speed was quicker. Bones chin hasn't been tested yet either or how well he takes a good shot and we wont know how he copes untill someone does land one on him. Rampage has the power to put any fighter to sleep but let's face it he doesn't possess the same speed as Rashad, i'm hoping that Rampage knocks Bones jaw into orbit but it may not happen simply because Bones is quicker. Rashad is a different story altogether though, he has the speed and the power to catch Bones, the fact that they trained together over at Jacksons, getting an insight into each others game, may also come into play. Rashad IS capable of beating Jones it just comes down to who is the better man on the night IMO.....

Rampage is way more of a thorn in the side of the champ. Rashard plays right into bones skill set, he has him bested in every department. Rapage's wrestling is at a higher level than most people care to give him credit for. He can defend against bone's takedowns, stifling his main attraction, ground and pound. In my opinion we may see all 6.4 ft of bones flat on his face by the end of the night.
