Photo Gallery: Nam Phan trains for his UFC 133 fight with Mike Brown
Posted on July 13, 2011, 06:45 AM by Anton GurevichYes, we all heard the news. Phil Davis is out of his fight against Rashad Evans on August 6th. But still, UFC's third trip to Pennsylvania and second to Philadelphia offers a card stacked with exciting fights. One of those fights is Nam Phan's fight against the former WEC Featherweight Champion Mike Brown.
TUFC 12 semi-finalist Nam Phan faced the Octagon veteran Leonard Garcia in his UFC debut back in December of 2010, in what was later voted by Sherdog.com as "Robbery of the Year". Phan dominated Garcia (outstriking 122 to 66) during all three rounds, but the judges surprisingly decided to award "Bad Boy" a controversial Unanimous Decision victory.
Against the former Pound-for-Pound ranked Mike Brown, Nam Phan will look to solidify his spot in the UFC Featherweight division, and make sure that he continues his career as a UFC fighter.
Our photographer Scott Hirano visited Nam Phan's MMA Academy in Garden Grove, California to capture Phan's final preparations for the fight against Mike Brown. Please make sure you visit Scott Hirano's official website at ScottHirano.com and give him props by liking his Facebook page.
Enjoy!

even without the main event, phan and brown is gonna be a firework
this is gonna be an amazing fight its just too bad the loser especially if its brown, gets cut
i doubt nam phan cause he just got out with a close UD (rob) but with mike brown he also had hard fights
don not bet on mike brown, or pick him "their is a freebie for lowpick"
I love how Nam Phan attacks the body, there are not enough punch attacks to the body in my opinion.
I hope he becomes the next Cung Le
Coming of such a dominant win Nam is really poised to make a real name for himself and a run for the title.
That crazy Asian is alright
Cool pix. Should be a good fight.
