This New York Bad Ass does not posses the skills to be fighting in the big leagues sorry to say. Common now, he lost to an TUF competitor for GODS sake! LOL!

i dont think he will , well maybe to Strikeforce but the chances are few

i dont know what to say, Baroni has the power and the experience

he just cant keep all together to get a few wins

i feel bad for him after all he is the one who got me watching the UFC

UFC 45 , it just seems its been downhill ever since.

The problem with baroni is when he first came to the ufc he had fast hands, powerful hands, could take punishment and stacked with muscle but those were his only attributes and years later he makes his way back to the ufc and is exactly the same. He has never used kicks, never had great cardio, never had great game plans and is also looking for the ko shot and thats it. He has always been exciting but they say if you dont evolve you get left behind and thats phil baroni, stuck in the past.

I'm really starting to wonder who's going to give Phil "The New York dumb ass" Baroni another job.

Japan, the guy's not a bad fighter - just not a good one either unfortunately.

I think he was probably given another chance with the ufc because he was there when zuffa baught it and he probably has a good friendship with dana and the fertitta brothers but he is just not at the level he once was.

strikeforce might give him a chance cause he was with the ufc but i don't see him doing well there either.

i never really liked him, one of the reasons being he reminds me of buff bagwell (a pro wrestler from the 90's ) and his attitude, but he did have some good fights.

He already failed in Strike Force, going 0-2 in the promotion. He went from losing against Joe Riggs to signing with the UFC. Honestly though, I don't see why they cut him for his performance the other day. He came pretty close to getting a KO.

they cut him cause he hasn't won in the ufc since ufc 39 and he has a record of 13-13 and with the wec guys now coming in they can't have to many fighters

He fights at MW. There are no WEC guys coming in at that weight.

i know that, but they can only have so many guys under contract at the same time, thats why so many fighters are being cut

What I find really tragic is that Phil actually looked pretty good unit he got hit with that high kick. Was moving well and looked good.

Phil should come out on Bully Beatdown or Jersey Shore.

I find it a little pathetic that people would be happy that a guy lost his job. Especially someone who has stated multiple times that he is still fighting because he needs the money to support his family. The guy is a tough fighter and is always entertaining, win or lose. Give him some respect.

Baroni nearly pulled it off--he had Tavares rocked, but could not finish him.

The UFC is the ultimate Darwinian organization. Win or die.
