Following his recent UFC 121 loss to Tom Lawlor, Patrick "The Predator" Cote has been released from the UFC. Only a year ago, the French-Canadian was fighting Anderson Silva for the Middleweight Title at UFC 90. Patrick Cote severely injured his knee in that fight, going 0-2 since his return. "The Predator's" record in the promotion was 4-7.

i really dont want to see anyone fight who uses the cage to pull themself out of an arm triangle, the fight against Tom Lawlor should of been over in the first round.

thats the kind of title fights Silva had .

and people were bugging around for Fedors recent fights

while Silva was getting this kind of fights

anyway i feel bad for Cote , Lawlor fight a very boring fight just to get the win , fighters like him may be in the UFC a lil bit longer but hes getting no where in Ranks, i wonder whats next for Cote

Silva been getting these kinda fights:s what are u talking about? did u not watch Silva vs Sonnen, Silva vs Henderson, or Silva vs Franklin? Even when he faced Cote, Cote was doing good until he blew out his knee.. Silva's bad fights = vs Maia and vs Leites.. Plz wipe the S**t from ur eyes

What do you expect, dude has no ground game whatsoever and that is why he has lost the majority of his battles. Strikeforce... Pick him up!

He needs to work on his wrestling so if he wants to come back I think he should train with fellow canadian GSP

He'll be back. Let him run through 3-4 guys in one of the farm team organizations.

Dude got tossed by Lawlor after getting beat in his own back yard. Can't believe he fought Anderson now.

I like Cote a lot. This is just another testament to the fact that if you are not a good wrestler, your chances in the UFC are slim.

His fights were always exciting and you can never take that away from him.
