Nate Marquardt promises if given the chance, he will knockout Wanderlei Silva

Currently 2-2 in his last 4, the Greg Jackson fighter needs a strong win to prove his relevance in a division wealthy with talent, and fully believes himself up to the task of slaying "Tha Axe Murderer".
"In order to re-establish myself as the number one contender, my next opponent needs to be an elite fighter who will stand and bang with me in the center of the Octagon until one of us is knocked out. The fight that makes the most sense to me is Wanderlei Silva. I have a ton of respect for Wanderlei and have wanted this fight for years, the fans have wanted this fight, they deserve to see two of the best fighters in the world in an all out war.
Wanderlei is an amazing fighter who is very aggressive, I will pursue him with unwavering tenacity, then I will knock him out! I promise the UFC, Dana, my fans, my team, my coaches and most importantly myself that never again will there be a question about my cage aggression."
He also addressed the criticism from his boss, Dana White, who called him a choker, following his loss to Okami at UFC 122:
“After the fight and in recent days, Dana White has publicly criticized me for being a "choker" and not being aggressive enough. While Dana's comments were difficult to hear, I firmly believe that I am one of the best fighters in the world and will one day be the UFC middleweight champion.
“However in hindsight Dana is right - in order to live up to my full potential and realize my championship dreams I need to be more aggressive and showcase my inherent killer instinct. I need to stalk my opponents, impose my will and finish fights on a consistent basis.”

it would be a good fight, I wouldn't mind watching it but Wand will KO Nate instead
The fight that makes the most sense to me right now for Marqurdt is a rematch against Palhares, the fight did not go long enough and and grease or not Nate caught Palhares while he was looking at the ref (not Nate´s fault) and I will like to see how that fight would go if the fight gets to the second or third round.
Silva vs Leben will be a fun fight. I think Silva should focus on fights like that and stay away from wrestlers at this point of his carrer.
Wand will beat Nate by decision but hopefully he will KO him

Ya everyone seems to be calling out Wand rite now, Akiyama, Leben, Belcher, Bisping and now Nate....they all want to beat him because hes a legend but I think Wand will win if he ever fought Nate
yeah it's so easy to call wanderlei out now when he's past his prime. Back in pride everybody was afraid to fight wanderlei.
Nate needs to do his talking in the ring. We all know he wants to be champ. We all know he wants another shot at Silva. Fight, don't talk. Now he's trying to talk his way into a fight vs Wand. I don't think he deserves this.

Leben vs Nate might be a good fight since Leben would happily stand and bang and Nate would probably never KO him. I think leben might be a bad match for him actually.
Leben vs Wanderlei Silva would be a better fight.

Leben has earned the chance to fight Wand. Marquardt does nothing special in his last fight and he should get the honor of fighting a legend? I think not...
I think Nate is on crack rock...the way he looked against Okami = Wand is taking his head clean off! Bisping at least has head movement (albeit the wrong way in the Hendo fight but he won't be making that mistake anymore) and Wandy almost KOd him

Everyone is calling out Wand because of his star power and a win over him will make you... Wand will always be a co-main event or a main event so they want that spot.
