He said Georges is a small welterweight but this just isn't true. He's now cutting from the low to mid 190's which makes him one of the biggest WW's. From what I've heard on fight night, Anderson is usually around 200 lbs, so weight wise the size difference between them isn't big. Where Anderson does have a big advantage is reach; Freddie Roach broke the fight down perfectly by saying the winner would be the one who maintains his distance better.
that is pretty small for a welterweight, youve got guys like hathaway, rick story and anthony johnson who cut from near 200 and above pounds, so comparatively, hes small for a welterweight
Anderson weighs at least 220. Many say he's heavier than that. But we'll see, people say a lot of different things. On the night of the fight he surely weighs over 200. But let's see St. Pierre fight him anyway. I agree with Pyle though. St. Pierre says if he goes up he'll never come back down. But if he lost i think he would want to. I have a feeling he won't be going up in weight at all anyway, and that's his way of saying why.
