While Sonnen has been facing Top 10 fighters since he return to the UFC , Maia , Okami , Marquardt , Silva and Stann

Wanderlei barely edged out that decision actually, if it wasn't for the guillotine attempt at the end of the second round, Bisping would have had the fight. Also, it's worth pointing out that Stann was very overrated with a weakness towards wrestlers, and both Maia and Silva beat Sonnen. Actually, Maia tooled Sonnen quite handily. Also noteworthy is that Stann is the only person that Sonnen has ever finished in the octagon. He doesn't really make a habit of stomping anybody, despite what his trash talk would lead you to believe.



But I digress. Just by referring to most of Bisping's opposition as not being "worthy opponents", you acknowledge that he's a cut above the rest. Sonnen schooled Stann, but it's not like Bisping wouldn't do that too. We'll see whether Sonnen can be the first grappler to be able to take Bisping down and do damage, something he has yet to experience in his whole career.

I guess you missed all of the sweeps Wandy used and the near KO at the end, huh? Wandy schooled Bisping.

But that's pretty much all he did, he sweeped him but never did anything after that, and I think that's how wandy stole the fight with the knockdown at the end of the 3rd, cause busing was out pointing him through out the fight

Power leg kicks which never seemed to do noticable damage besides the knockdown, which wasn't capitalized on? Oh yes, those count for a lot.. ; )



Wanderlei lost the first round on every judge's card. He was cautious and stood with Bisping, but Bisping was better than him. The second round was very close, and Wandy snatched it away with a last second guillotine. The third round, again, was very close, but Silva snatched it away with an effective flurry at the end that rocked Bisping and knocked him down.

I don't see how Baas thinks Chael has more endurance than Bisping or how Bisping is stronger than Chael. I'll be rooting for Bisping but Chaels agrressive style will unsettle Bisping and he will find it hard to use his pitter patter style to out point Chael.

They do have a common opponent, they both fought and defeated Jason "Mayhem" Miller. Granted, they were like 10 years apart.
