looks like the greg jackson camp is good for melvins mentality!! but its a little bit weird that he dont know whats going on with edgar and maynard! guillard vs b.henderson would be a great fight
Everyone likes a success story and most people deserve a second chance. I never liked Guillard because of his ridiculous behavior in and out of the ring. Ever since he changed, I became a fan because you can't argue with his raw talent (remember the solar plexis knock out?) and now his turn around seems very sincere. This interview just reaffirms all that.
Melvin impressed me in his last fight with Dunham. Everyone was picking Dunham, but Guillard dominated Dunham and surprised a lot of people. It wasn't just a lucky shot against Evan, Melvin stuffed takedowns, and looked much more composed with his ground game.
Hearing him speak, I was impressed with his maturity and honesty. The new Melvin still has those explosive strikes--but the patience now to not over commit and wait for the right moments.
Roller vs. Guillard is going to be a very interesting fight.

Very good interview
He seems like a far more mature person now, he's grown in my estimations this year.
Melvin is capable of doing some serious damage in that division... I wouldn't want to be Shane Roller right now.

Way to go.
excellent interview...I wish him good luck following his dreams, I think everyone deserves a second chance If you manage to change.
They should really give this guy to Jim Miller... Or Nate Diaz. They'd eat him alive.
guillard was owning diaz till he got stupid and went for a td, if they fought agian guillard would destroy diaz
your name says enough
You think you know MMA inside out... But really, anything can happen.
Can't wait for his next fight, it'll be a good measuring stick. Top 3 most talented guys in the sport IMO.
