If he can't take Bisping down, he will lose a decision by getting out boxed. He doesn't really have one punch knock out power and he's not a better striker than Bisping technically. Bisping's takedown defense is pretty solid, so I expect him to win most of the striking exchanges and a decision.
I think he will lose the fight, even when he comes in his best shape. i think bispngs wins by decision. Bisping is hard to take down, gets up pretty easily most times and even on his back doesnt seem in danger. I dont see how miller wins this fight.
Miller wins this fight by taking Bisbing down and destroying him on the ground. The only reason Bisping has looked as good as he has is because he fights bums. He has only had three good opponents (Wanderlei, Hendo and Evens) and they have all beaten him. If you want you can add Lieban but he sucks against technical strikers. The fact of the matter is that Miller came damn close to finishing Shields on the ground. If he can do well against Shields on the ground Bisping won't survive a minute on the ground with him.
hahaha this guy is ****ing funny. I'm glad he's in the UFC now man...the guy can act like a clown all he wants, I don't care...in the ring he's no joke.
This is one of those fights I really don't know how it will turn out.
Bisping has always been a good technical boxer and he seemed to have more power in his striking in his last fight, and Bisping has always had excellent takedown defense.
Just because I don't like Bisping does not mean is not a good fighter.
I have not seen much of Mayhem recently, so I find it hard to evaluate him against Bisping.
I just don't see him beating bisping, bisping fights so safe now and always plays to his strengths, very smart fighter. Mayhem will get frustrated and his gameplan will go out the window. just my opinion, 60-40 bisping
Bisping DOES NOT fight safe or smart. He still habitually circles into his opponents power. Bisping only looks good because he is fighting bums. Every time he fights someone good he looses. Miller will take his back and choke him out.
Reading through the thread, you have probably already noticed that rational explanations of why Bisping will win have largely been given a weak rating. It's interesting that these weak ratings haven't been supported with a rational explanation.
Perhaps someone could explain, what specific game plan Miller will use with Bisping.
Miller has exceptional BJJ. He had a fairly close fight with Jake Shields where he was within seconds of choking him out. Miller needs to time Bisping's punches and shoot for takedowns when Michael is fully committed. Bisping will avoid a lot of them but when Miller does get one he will be able to use his superior BJJ to take Bispings back and choke him out. This will not be as difficult as some here think. Bisping has looked good and shown an ability to get the fight back to the feet in most of his fights. This is mainly because he has fought bums. When he fights anyone of note, he looses. The only notable ground fighter he has beaten is Akiyama but let's be honest, Akiyama has not performed well since comming to the US.
Seems like a rational argument and you could be proved right.
One of the issues people seem to overlook is the lessons Bisping has taken from his defeats. You and I are both fighters, you probably also agree that the most painful lessons are the ones which force us to improve with greater intensity.
I really respect Miller as a fighter and like the public face he presents. I believe his ability to impose his game plan over Michaels will be dictated by the footwork and movement of Michael on the night. It will be an interesting match up and I look forward to exchanging comments post fight.

Crazy Mayhem looks like hes really happy to be in the ufc. I hope he's not taking Bisping lightly, i'll be pissed if he looses that fight.

Mayhem is funny, put oooboy on his toes he only went off cause
he didnt take him serious.. as for the fight Miller has always had
good skills but damn his training on this fight is great and to be honest
think Bisping is taking him lightly and Mayhems stand up isnt bad
his kickboxing isnt bad...I think he has a descent chance
He's gonna have a hard time against Bisping especially because of the long long lay off....hope he can pull it off still, always a Mayhem fan
I like Mayhem more when he is not in character.
He was kind of funny there. Not sure if I like that interviewer though.
Like his talk but sorry, he's got no legs to walk on yet so let's see how he performs against bisping first.

i dont think hes gonna beat bisping, but i think it'll be a good fight no doubt
i think he might shock yall, and beat bisping quite handily
you could be right
Agreed.
i like this guys MMA show he has, i no longer get the channel, and forget the guys name and even the show, but it was a great one
mma30 or something i see it on the tv guide but i dont have the mav channel either
Guys, its an online show... Its Heavy.com's Fight Day series.
no MMA30 is what i was talking about, and its on Mav TV as mentioned by Dave
Ok... Thought you were talking about this show.
I think he is highly overrated right now. I think Bisping will be a great test to see where he stacks up.
It's funny how all of these guys talk sh*t about how they can do this or do that to Anderson Silva, but he always seems to embarrass them! ha
Anderson is STILL p4p the most hated on in MMA, now that Brock is out of the picture there's not even a close second.
I really don't understand why. I love AS myself.
LMAO!!!
this guy is hilarious!!
its gonna be a good TUF season for sure haha

He is so funny...NOT. He should ask Sonnen for some lessons. This is all forced annoying screaming.
Miller is nuttier than squirrel shit!

Oh yeah, and Dennis Kang who Miller also beat.
